Not very friendly - Edit
Took 15 mins to come over and tell us the table we’d sat on was reserved and only available for another 15 mins (no reserved sign). We only wanted coffee and could have been in and out if served sooner. Maybe they just didn’t like the look of us?

Great quality food and plenty of vegan choices - Edit
This is a little more upmarket than the usual pub lunch with starched white napkins. There were a number of really nice vegan choices for main. We had the vegan option of the nut roast Sunday roast dinner and it was the nicest meal we’ve had in a long time.
Read moreOnly two choices for dessert but the elderflower jelly with sorbet was very tasty.
Ask for tap water - we were given bottled water that ended up costing us £4.50 and it had been imported from Italy! I’d hoped they have taken this off the bill when I complained but they didn’t, so I took a star off for that this time.
