No vegan options - Edit
My partner is vegetarian and ordered a tofu baguette. I asked if there were vegan options and she said no. She was quite rude actually and said something about the sauce. Unfortunately although loads of vegetarian options and huge portions, nothing is vegan. Makes no sense.

So enormous - Edit
I could see already on the pictures that you'll get a massive sandwich but in real life it looks even bigger. You barely know how to take a bite because it is so giant.
Read moreAfter finishing it I was so full and satisfied.
Also try to come early, once we went there at 6pm and they were already out of tofu.

No vegan options - Edit
I went there as it looked very good, and the woman in the entrance said there are vegan options, but the old lady inside that makes the food overheard the conversation and said she puts eggs and milk in every sandwich including the tofu with mushroom option so nothing is vegan there. Very disappointing.

Amazing sandwich - must go for lunch - Edit
Feeling tired after mopeding around pai Island? Feeling sick from the hours of twisty roads? Sounds like you need a deep fried Tofu sandwich!

Not worth spending your money - Edit
We stayed 4 days in Pai and were happy that the shop was finally open. The days before there was a sign that they would be open the next day (which never happened). As others mentioned the staff is extremely unfriendly and rude. They didn't have Tempeh anymore so I ordered Tofu which is fine.
Read moreWe had a bill of 200 Baht but she wouldn't accept our 1,000 bill. It was our last day and we didn't have any other option. She told us to go across the street and buy something from one of the shops and come back with smaller bills. We left.
I cannot say anything about the taste, though.

Unfriendly - Edit
Tried to visit for a couple of days, every time I entered there was no tofu or vegan/vegetarian options as displayed on the menu. The owner was super unfriendly. As I sat with my friend who had a chicken Banh Mi, I witnessed the same unfriendliness towards other customers seeking a tofu Banh mi. The owner either would completely ignore them, or be quite abrupt and rude. Google reviews show this isn’t just my experience. Don’t bother supporting someone so unfriendly.

Huge portion, nicely fried Tofu - Edit
The sandwich you get is really huge, filled so much you can't even bite it 😄 I had the Tofu Mushroom Sandwich, both of which were nicely deepfried. Not too healthy i guess, but tasty and not easy to find elsewhere. Towards the end of the journey through this massive sandwich it got a bit dry though.
Read morePros: Huge portion, very filling , Good price for what you get, Tasty
Cons: Shop is often randomly closed, Bit dry, Not the friendliest staff

Big portion - Edit
This place is not fully vegan.
Read moreThe tofu and mushroom is the vegan option. When I tried it they ran out of mushrooms so I had the bahn mi with tofu only.
It was OK. Not the taste of Vietnamese bahn mi.

Cheap and filling! - Edit
Banh Mi stall in Pai is incredibly popular. We stood in the line for at least half an hour. There's one vegan banh mi (Tofu and Mushroom), if you leave out the garlic mayo. Banh Mi was huge and cheap for just 60 Baht, but not really comparable to the ones sold in Vietnam.
