Its a yummy Banh Mi, but the other fully vegan Banh mi stall is so much better with 20 options vs just one option. You also need to request ‘no butter’ with this vegetarian Banh Mi. It’s a good choice if you’re in the area and want something quick, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.

I couldn't find many Bahn Mi places with vegan options close to the beer street so that's definitely a good option. It's filled with vegetarian meatballs and tons of mushrooms. I wish they would offer tofu and would not overfill it with mushrooms.

Decent vegetarian banh mi, can be made vegan - Edit
As noted in other reviews, there is a single vegetarian banh mi option on the menu, labeled as such. Note that it is not vegan by default; they put on a sauce containing eggs unless you specifically ask them not to use it. I could not get them to confirm whether the bread itself is vegan.
Read moreThe sandwich is more or less average for banh mi chay. It's fairly heavy on the mock meat, so if that's not your thing, avoid. Inexpensive and fairly filling, but far from amazing.
The place can get quite busy, esp. on the weekends. There is an upper level with some additional seating, though it sees a lot of traffic and isn't cleaned very often.
