This was incredible Banh Mi! They bake their own bread! And there are THREE vegan options - they were so good that my partner and I got all three to try!

We just moved here and loved that we found a place for Banh Mi. Flavorful fillings with fried tofu and pickled whatever’s on a warm crispy French bread. Feels like home already.

Highly flavorful food, quick service, friendly staff, super casual atmosphere. The one soup on the menu (which is stellar) is vegan. Also, there are three different vegan hoagies, plus each of the different tofu fillings can also be served on rice. Excellent vegan fresh rolls - big and fresh! Will definitely go here again. Good for mixed crowd (vegans and non-vegans).

Bread is nice and crispy on the outside and soft within. Fairly straightforward fillings, well executed. Owner was very friendly and mentioned they have other vegan banh mi that aren’t on the menu!

Vegetarian options are hard to come by in Delaware, Bahn Mi Boy is a great go to when I'm in Newark. It's priced right, the sandwiches are delicious, and the owner and all of the people who work their are really nice. A while ago they added a couple more vegetarian sandwiches, I believe it was a lemongrass tofu and a mock pork, but I still love the OG the best. Definitely the way to go if you are in town.
