Very tasty vegan dishes on the menu! - Edit
We arrived late in Bangor and were happy to find this Indian restaurant open.

Inside the restaurant is lovely and staff are very attentive.
Read moreI opted for the vegetable garlic with pilau rice. And despite not being in the menu i had a chapati as well. The dish itself was fabulous. Not too spicy but full of flavour.
You can bring your own alcohol and there’s an off license and kwiksave next door so you can grab a few bottles of whatever you like before you go in. The restaurant is also cash only. There are loads of veggie option but make sure to let the staff know you’re vegan and they’ll be happy to help or recommend dishes. Would definitely go again!

Not very appealing from outside - but clean and yummy on the inside - Edit
Lovely staff, make sure you say you are vegan as the menu by itself only says one vegan option (apart from vegetables) but the nice waiter will make the chef do any of the curries without animals.
Read moreIf you are used to proper curries (Bradford or Birmingham) ask them to make it hot and you’ll be happy.
Very attentive staff, very quick service and it was hot (temperature)
It was also reasonably priced for good sized portions😄

A Diamond in the Rough - Edit
Literally a diamond in the rough due to its location but don’t judge a book by its cover, or bookcase! Friendly staff, great food at a great price with plenty of vegan and veggie options. Take your own booze and cash.

Amazing!! - Edit
The food was amazing, we have been vegan for 3 years and having missed Indian food so much we have tried so many Indian takeaways/ restaurants but this is by far the best and tastes like I remember and bettter before becoming vegan!! The service was outstanding, Shafwan our waiter made sure everything was vegan and talked through with us about the 6 vegan curries they had on their menu. I would drive back 150 miles from home just to come back here it’s amazing!! If you like Indian food you won’t be disappointed! A MUST VISIT!! Rated so high on Trip-advisor.
