Vegan Thai Hidden Gem in GR - Edit
This is one the best Thai food in Grand Rapids area I have had! My favorite dishes are the vegan peanut rice dish, and the vegan pho. The vegan pho is so yummy!

Would skip curry - Edit
Love that when ordering online it is easy to specify vegan - but the yellow curry I got was very watery and had very little tofu in it. The noodles look good though so I would recommend that instead.

Veg-friendly Thai in Downtown GR - Edit
This place has a lot of great vegetarian options, but it is not very vegan-friendly. You can add tofu or veg to any meal, but when ordering, you have to specify that you want the vegan option. They list the fried tofu options as vegan-friendly, however, there is no dedicated fryer for plant food so to get it made vegan you have to specify that you want steamed tofu, not fried. The food was good but the portions weren't especially generous, as one previous reviewer noted. The staff provided great service and were very helpful in answering questions.

Super Yummy Vegan Thai - Edit
I was immediately excited to eat when I entered Bangkok Taste, because the menu specified foods with vegan and gluten free options. This made it extremely easy to order. I ordered the vegan curry fried rice, and it was the most delicious fried rice I've ever tasted. It had a unique curry taste with a good mix of vegetables. This only complaint I have about Bangkok Thai is that the portions were very large, and that when I ate there it was very cold inside the restaurant. Overall going to Bangkok Thai was a great experience with delicious food.

Best Thai In Grand Rapids - Edit
Bangkok Taste is hands-down the best place to get Thai food in Grand Rapids. Everything from their Drunken Noodles to Green Curry to Curry Pad Thai is downright delicious and offered at a great value. In fact I would say this is one of my favorite places to eat in town.
Read moreFair warning: while many Thai places claim to have high spice levels, this one really does. If you do not like hot food, order no spice or mild. It's still insanely delicious.
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
