Mediocre

Pros: vegan menu, fast service (perhaps too fast!) cons: Everything we ordered was bland. We asked for more sauce and they remade both entree dishes, but it was still the worst Thai I've ever had. The atmosphere isn't great and they play one song on repeat!

What I got was not what is on the menu!

I let the server know that we were vegan and that I wanted soup. She recommended the coconut based soup called Tom Kha Shitake. I looked at the menu and saw that it included many delicious ingredients. BUT when I received, it was nothing like what was in the menu. NO shiitake mushrooms. NO cilantro. NO broccoli. NO flavor.

When I pointed it out to the server, her solution was that they were going to give me sautéed shiitake mushrooms to add to the soup. That was not a solution I was looking for because 90% of the ingredients were missing. I felt that the server gave me an “attitude” before finally getting me a delicious lunch special.

Bad day? Between seasons? Based on all the other reviews, I should’ve been wowed by this opportunity to have a vegan Thai lunch. Not the case when they do NOT serve what they advertise in the menu.

Pros: Vegan options

Cons: What I received was NOT what was advertised , Dirty caps on sauces, Attitude of server when I pointed out the obvious

Separate vegan menu

Pros: The separate vegan menu gave me confidence about ordering, and it was nice to have so many options.

Cons: My dish didn't have any protein (such as tofu or tempeh), so while pretty tasty, not as substantial as I would have liked.

Lovely vegan sushi (and more)!

Ate here while vacationing in Aspen, and I SO appreciate a place with a clearly marked vegan menu. Lots of choices. I went with the gyoza appetizer and a beautiful veggie sushi. I’d eat there again and again!

An oasis in a town where there isn’t much variety

Can’t believe it took me years to discover this Aspen gem. A little out of the way from where we stay but worth the trek! #Veganuary

Pros: Gorgeous service. So accommodating, BIG vegan menu, Delicious food especially the Drunken Noodles. OMG

Cons: Not so much a dislike but BHB don’t take bookings

Worst Thai I’ve ever had…

really expected more out of Aspen. Flavorless curry, weird and absent table service. Don’t expect a water refill if you’ve ordered Thai Hot and don’t expect your tofu to be cooked. Gross.

Served us shrimp as a vegan dish

I would suggest deleting them from the list

Pros: They had a typed VEGAN menu - not really being veg, They had zero vegan options , Pad Thai was noodles with ketchup- not edible

Cons: They gave us a soup with shrimps , They didn't know what is vegan , Rice noodles with ketchup as pad thai

Love the vegan menu

This has now become our go to spot. My wife is Thai so the standards are high, and this meets the standard. The curries are delicious, different tofu dishes are legit. The only thing is that the papaya salad was too salty so we sent it back. It came back less salty but still very salty, and the menu says it’s spicy, but it had no spice both times. Also can it use more peanuts. But I’m being picky as you can tell. If you’re vegan you’ll love the dedicated options. We come back often😄

To starve or not to starve

The food was very bland in Bangkok Happy but the Ramen from the other side of the restaurant was ok. The Ramen isn’t advertised on the menu and the set up was confusing.

Pros: Vegan menu

Cons: Bland food , Small, Confusing set up

I agree, we had a very bad experience. They didn't have any vegan options so the mixed some noodles with ketchup. Also gave us soup with shrimp inside. Never had such a bad experience

Half menu vegan

Cute place tucked in to a strip mall. A full half of the menu is vegan and the food was great. See accompanying photo

Fast service & great vegan options

A whole side of the menu is devoted to vegan and vegetarian options. Fast and friendly service and a reasonable price.

Pros: One side of the menu is devoted to vegan/ veg ops

Cons: A little off the beaten track
