Vegan tax - Edit
They charge 50p extra for plant milk in coffee, and another 50p to swap cows’ cheese for vegan cheese. The meal itself was very spicy but not very flavourful and I was disappointed they didn’t swap the sour cream for anything (eg avocado).
Read moreI feel a bit ungrateful complaining since it’s almost the only place in Windermere that does a vegan meal, but there is certainly room for improvement.

Stopped by for lunch and managed to get the last table, outside but under shelter from the drizzle.

Had two sorts of quesadillas, the mushroom one and the black bean/avocado, both with vegan cheese.
Two quesadillas each but they were completely stuffed and really delicious, would recommend either.

4 of us went and had vegan burritos - we all really enjoyed it! Extremely friendly and kind staff. Best oat lattes we have ever had! We all really enjoyed trying the different hot sauces too.

Gorgeous spot in the Heart of Windermere - Edit
I would highly recommend the vegan Quesadillas and the Vegan Speciality Burrito (we had it as a bowl). Perfectly balanced dishes, with a real punch of Flavour! If you are in the area pop in for some great vibes, lovely customer service, and most importantly some grand food!

Got a takeaway of a quesadilla and it was delicious, flavourful and different (had broccoli in!) friendly staff.

Would eat there again.
Only thing that could be improved is takeaway nacho guacamole etc served in a pot as it was a bit soggy when I came to eat it.

Only offered one vegan/vegetarian option when I came here, although it was very tasty.

Could also add on jalapeños and guacamole.
This burrito was £7 but very substantial- a mild sweetpotato curry with rice and slaw. I had it in a wrap but also available in a bowl.
Some seating outside and also available for takeaway.
Staff were incredibly helpful and checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was fine and tasty, which it was!
Also had a drinks fridge and dessert options, one of which was vegan when we visited. They also had mexican snacks you could buy such as crisps and sauces.

planned my road trip stop around this place as I'd heard such great things and it certainly lived up to expectations. 2 delicious vegan burrito options (one sweet potato, chickpea coconut curry and the other Chipotle mushroom). Great fresh guac. Vegan cheese available too. Saw vegan breakfast options. Even said which beers on the menu were vegan. The owner (?) was very friendly and knowledgable about the vegan options. Must try the homemade vegan chai with oat milk too!

Really good Burritos, big and filling, two vegan options - Mushroom or Sweet Potato & Chickpea curry. Can get both in one burrito if wanted. Really nice staff. Highly recommend. Would rate 5 stars but Happy Cow won't let me because they serve meat too. Also have really good apple juice!!

Just what we needed after our 5 day trip in Bowness and Windermere. Lovely vegan food, we had coconut sweet potato and chickepea curry in a form of burrito which was amazing served with slaw and rice. Mushroom burrito was another vegan option. Friendly staff and nice interior. We were told all Beer was also vegan.
