we had an avocado toast, after being a bit tired of the traditional sri lankan food, it was really really good!!
Read morethe owner is super nice to talk to and is open for any individual requests, like tofu on the toast etc.
Also he told us he wants to do more modern vegan sri lankan food in the future! would recommend!

Banana Chill offers amazing vegan food. They can adjust many items on the menu to vegan. It was soo tasty. Make sure you check the location on google maps because they changed the location

Read moreThe owner is super cool and friendly and chatted about his plans to expand the place. The food was amazing, we got a chia bowl and a brunch bowl. The smoothies/milkshakes were also amazing. He could make anything vegan or gluten free. The dishes were packed full of fruit and veg!

Read moreWe went there and had smoothie bowls and an amazing avocado coffee. We had a little chat with the owner, which was really nice😄he explained to us which foods and drinks are vegan and which can be made vegan. Overall we had a great time!

Best Avo Toast in Sri Lanka - Edit
I didn’t expect one bit that I’d get my tastebuds on some proper avo on toast during my travels through Sri Lanka but guess what I was wrong!! When it comes to vegan plant-base options the beautiful city of Kandy has produced the goods. We came across this little hidden gem just outside of the city centre @cafebananachill soon as I heard that they do avo on toast then seen pictures I was convinced to go and see for ourselves. Let me tell you this, one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. I don’t know if I was craving it or legit was the best but most of all it just felt so good to be eating something like this after being in Sri Lanka for 3 weeks!

Banana Chill is a small place with a nice vibe. The owner is fun and friendly and prepares the food himself. We had avocado toast and mango bowl (bothe made vegan for us). It was delicious. Make sure to let the owner know you’re vegan.

Been from breakfast a few times. Wonderful avo toast with heap of fruits including mangosteen and rambutan. Very good smoothie bowls and assortment of cold drinks.
