Sehr lecker, supernetter Service

Im Ban Thai ist man immer bemüht, vegane Optionen anzubieten. Für uns wurden auch Gerichte, die eigentlich nur vegetarisch sind, veganisiert. Das Curry ist super lecker und die Bedienung ist einfach immer extrem nett und hilfsbereit. Der Hund bekommt zuerst sein Wasser, dann sind die Menschen an der Reihe.👍🏻

Pros: Sehr netter Service, Mache Gerichte können vegan bestellt werden, Hundefreundlich

Cons: Wenige vegane Optionen, nicht als vegan gelabelt, Nur Sitzplätze innen

Leckeres Essen und hilfsbereites, zuvorkommendes Personal

Wir fragten sicherheitshalber nach veganen Currys und entschieden uns für das rote Curry mit Kokosmilch, Gemüse und Tofu.
Wir waren uns nicht ganz sicher wegen der Schärfe, da kam die freundliche Bedienung mit 2 Löffeln auf einem Teller zum Probieren, da sie meinte, das Curry sei heute vielleicht ein wenig schärfer geworden und ob es denn so gehen würde für uns. Auch während des Essens wurde noch mal nachgefragt, ob es passen würde von der Schärfe her. Super nett!

Pros: Hilfsbereites und zuvorkommendes Personal, Leckeres rotes Curry, Alternative (wenige Angebote i. d. Umgebung)

Cons: Keine Sitzplätze im Freien , Kaum vegane Optionen

Cozy little Thai restaurant in Husum Center

There are quite a few vegetarian-marked options on the menu that can be ordered as vegan.
The large menu might be a bit overwhelming to some, so it is recommended to refer to the lovely and helpful staff.
Over all a very nice place for tasty Thai Food. Recommend!

Fresh and spicy

As there was only one listing on Happy Cow in Husum (which was not what we were looking for that night) we searched for Thai or Viatnamese places with vegetarian options and were really happy to discover Ban Thai. The Penang Curry was incredible and I highly recommend to try it. Not the completely westernised version with red curry and no tanginess at all, but a rather flavourful curry with freshly ground peanuts and lime leaves.
The tom kha soup was a bit too sweet for my taste unfortunately, but had plenty of mushrooms. They could offer more vegan options though, as most dishes are vegetarian themselves, but to serve them with Tofu or just without meat is not offered on the menue.

Pros: fresh vegetables, tangy flavours

Cons: could have more vegan options

From the online menu there is oyster sauce in the Tom kha soup and dairy in the Penang curry 😕
