Vegan Friendly Lao Food 😀 - Edit
I had lunch there and the food was amazing! The restaurant was very accommodating for different dietary preferences. There was even a whole page with veggie options. The staff was also friendly and gave excellent recommendations. The tofu curry, surprise soup, and mango smoothie were fantastic!

I think that really sad for this place, I was exited to try it! Now I am really disappointed, I would like to ask the owner , how can Your menu be so misleading.? Vegan people are very serious , spiritual about not eating animal products . How can you be so dishonest?

Absolutely. When I questioned the waiter just kept saying it was a problem with the kitchen

I am sorry you had a bad experience. As a foreigner living in Laos I can say that "vegan" is a concept that people are not familiar with at all in Laos. There is not even a word for "vegan" in Lao language and even if there is a word for "vegetarian" most people would not know it or understand it either. It won't change your bad experience but maybe give you a little more information on why this happened. :-)

It might have been a vegan fish sauce that hey added as a replacement. It exists, many restaurants in Thailand use it

Lovely food across from the water. We sat outside and they moved the fan out for us. Absolutely lovely service, and exciting to find a fully vegan page of the menu (5 mains). Got the curry, which was yummy. When ordering drinks, as for no straw to avoid plastic.

A lovely lunch - Edit
We had a late lunch here and so were able to snag an outdoor table without a reservation, enjoying both the peaceful setting and the delicious vegan dishes on offer, all very fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. This restaurant has a reputation as one of the better places in LP to dine and it did not disappoint.

Chilled location, friendly staff - Edit
Full page of vegan options, plus they say at the start of the menu they can customise other dishes if you ask. Staff friendly and helpful, the food was good. Small issue with my food when it initially arrived, but this was rectified straight away by staff and a fresh dish brought out a short while after. It's in a very calm area. Would recommend it.

Delicious, safe option - Edit
I love this part of town, as it's always a bit calmer than along the Mekong. The food was delicious, though portions were a bit on the small side. It was so nice having a whole page of items that were labeled vegan, though!

high quality, nice cooking class - Edit
With a river view you can have a great and fresh prepared vegan/vegetarian meal in the bamboo tree. The staff is very friendly. It tastes very good and we visited the cooking class, so we know the kitchen uses fresh ingredients, no msg and they have nice vegetarian alternatives to meat dishes. You pay still nice prices for such good food, so just try it!!!
