I have ordered from Plantbase co. on deliveroo a few times, which is Balti King's Vegan/Vegetarian menu. The vegan vrawns and vish masala are amazing and it's so nice to see so many different meat and fish substitutes available! I would give 5 stars if I could, highly recommend for anyone looking for an Indian takeout. I'd love to go and eat there in person sometime too!

Amazing vegan chicken - Edit
Full credit to the guys running this, an entirely vegan menu and superb vegan chicken as a meat substitute. Best meat substitute I've tasted in any restaurant in 25 years of being meat free . I used to live in Birmingham, where there were 250 plus Indians and this is as good as any in terms of the taste of the sauce. Not at all oily either. Had vhicken dhansak for main which was delicious and vhicken tikka for starters. Added bonus is its bring your own booze if you fancy a drink, off license just round the corner. Keep up the great work guys. Would give a 5 star but as meat options are available the app restricts to 4 star.

I have been to the Balti King twice. Once on a normal night and once for their monthly vegan nights.
Read moreThe vegan night meal was absolutely amazing and included different starters, curries, sides and vegan naan breads! Also the dessert was amazing - vermicelli with toffee sauce, plantain and ice cream - truly delicious!
I cannot wait for the next vegan night!
