Twice in two days - Edit
They have great vegan/vegetarian menu, and many vegetarian options can be adapted for a vegan option.

Good option - Edit
Full menu for vegetarian and vegan. We got the sweet potato burger and was a bit missing the twist!!! But overall is nice to see a full menu dedicate to vegetarian and vegan in a fish restaurant!

Great vegan food! Many options - Edit
I was so stoked to find a place with a whole veg/vegan menu! We’ve been on vacation for five days and it’s been hard to find vegan options, but I was tasked with finding a restaurant and am so pleased with my food here. My family of non vegans loved their food too, so if you’re with non vegans it won’t be hard to convince them to come. Would’ve been nice if they had vegan key lime pie, but they did have two vegan desserts on the menu which I never ever see. Can’t wait to go back.

Separate Veg/Vegan Menu! - Edit
I was stoked when I saw this place had a separate vegetarian/ vegan menu that I had to go try it. Let’s talk about it. I ordered a Vegan grilled cheese and black been soup. Separately, they hit the spot. BUT TOGETHER really made the meal. The bread was perfectly toasted. LETS TALK VEGAN CHEESE: seemed to be a house made, thicker cheese using cashew?? (im assuming). It isn’t by any means an “exact replica” of cheese, but good nonetheless. The black bean burger was served on a hoagie bun with crisp fries and a house made ketchup. Really a good safe dish for any vegan veggie burger lovers. I want to go back and enjoy more of their menu. Glad I found this place.

Haven’t forgotten this place - Edit
I came here a few years ago when visiting Key Largo. Salad isn’t usually my go to but the Joe vs the Volcano salad was soo good. I enjoyed the vegan grilled cheese as well. If I’m ever in the area again, I’m definitely stopping back

At least they are trying! - Edit
The Mac and cheese was just truly “ok” and the black bean tacos need spice! The sweet potato burger was the best thing. We appreciate they have a separate menu for vegetarians/vegans.

Laid back Keys atmosphere was great. Loved the separate vegan menu and had tons of options. The grilled cheese and black bean soup was so good! I also enjoyed the vegan coconut cake immensely! My non vegan partner also enjoyed his meal.

A few great items - Edit
This was my second visit to this spot since they have a separate vegan menu in an area with few options. The fried tomatoes are delicious but over priced. The pasta is amazing. Tried the vegan grilled cheese and it is not anything like a grilled cheese unfortunately. I do not suggest. The coconut cake is a very dry cake but the frosting was so good.

I appreciated the veg/vegan menu that gave a number of options and ate here twice during a stay in key largo (as it was convenient). Service was quick. Black bean tacos were good. Fries and green beans also! I’d avoid the the coconut cake. Ours was very dry.

Nice midway stop in the Keys - Edit
My family stopped at Ballyhoo's on our way home after we saw they had a separate Vegan/Vegetarian menu. We sat outside with our dog. The server was very friendly but the service was a little slow. Took a while for the food to make it to the table. We weren't in hurry though. Otherwise we were all happy with the portions. The black bean burger was huge. And the fries, as one of the many side choices were great, not your typical frozen spuds. The black bean tacos were also good. And the grilled cheese with black beam soup was also filling. The cheese for the grilled cheese was a different take on vegan cheese. Not your normal smooth consistency, but we cleaned our plates. We took a piece of their coconut cake home with us and enjoyed it together.

Delicious vegan options! - Edit
I only wish I had realized they had a separate vegan menu before I ordered. I got the sweet potato burger which was good but would have been better with a sauce I’d some sort. I got the roasted mushrooms as a side and they were amazing! I put some on my burger and it was good that way too. I wouldn’t leave without getting a piece of vegan coconut cake to go. I ate it later after slightly warming it and it was really good!

Splendid Find! - Edit
We found this small, quaint restaurant on the way from the Keys to Miami. They had a full vegan/vegetarian menu for us to order and were more than helpful with veganizing some of their regular menu items as well! Service was great, and the food was delicious! And their homemade ketchup was out of this world!!! A must-stop gem!
