Limited but exquisite veg options - Edit
Like Italian restaurants, dumpling places are proliferating because they are easy to start, but at the same time, it’s hard to stand out with a mediocre product. Ballroom defies that mediocrity.
Read moreStarted by two Michlen-rated chefs, the place oozes subtle quality. While they only have one veg*n option, sometimes one is all it takes to demonstrate excellent ingredient quality and prep; the dough is soft and chewy without being spongy; the stuffing is delicately balanced and seasoned without any overpowering spices or oils; and the price is very fair.
If you are in Vienna, I’d say to hurry on over.

Great vegan dumpling option - Edit
Yes, there is only one vegan dumpling option, one vegan desert option, and one vegan side option, but on the plus side, the options are amazing. Apparently one of the founders is a Michelin-starred chef so it makes sense that the dumplings rock.
