Good prices, great owner/staff - Edit
Baldwin Naturals is a great place to shop. It no longer has a produce section.
Read moreI used to think it was pricey but I am now finding that on MANY of the products I look for, including essential oils and supplements, the prices are almost always lower than elsewhere, even a couple of my go to places in Kensington Market.
Eva, the owner, will order in supplements for you. She is quick and efficient (sometimes I feel rushed), but very nice. All the staff I have ever encountered there are very helpful and pleasant.
Like many other independent health food stores, it can be a tight squeeze when there are other customers in one's general vicinity, but that's to be expected.
They currently carry an AMAZING vegan chocolate bar I just discovered - IChoc - which is made with rice milk so that it is "milky" - white chocolate flavours as well as a scrumptious orange almond "milk" chocolate. It has not been easy to find these bars elsewhere. YUM.
Pros: good/competitive prices, friendly owner/staff, independent
Cons: sometimes a tight squeeze but to be expected!

Great selection in a small space. Lots of interesting things brought in that others dont have .. especially living food items. I love shopping here, it reminds me of my westcoast homeland!
