Absolutely amazing options. - Edit
My eyes were way too big for my belly here, lots of delicious vegan options on offer, we opted for the calamari crunch, loaded fries, hotdog and nuggets and chips, they also brought us a complimentary starter of traditional bean paste (I forget the name) and toasted bread, absolutely delicious food, friendly staff, fab surroundings and a great soundtrack playing too.

Had a delicious meal at Balance Bowl. The food was creative and tasty. The 3 salad trio was light and flavorful, hitting the spot after days of heavy tourist food. The Boa buns were perfectly made - fluffy and delicious. The ambiance was relaxed and comfortable and the service was helpful.

Food here was great. Lunch option is great value for money and good quantity as well. We had burgers which include fries which were already loaded.

More comfort food in terms of sandwich, wraps and burgers but they are great tasting. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Decent food, friendly service - Edit
I came here with high hopes since it’s one of the only vegan restaurants on the island (and the only one in the Valletta / Sliema region). The staff is wonderfully friendly, which somewhat offset the ok food. I ordered the bao bun appetizer but couldn’t eat them since the buns seemed stale - they were dense and chewy rather than fluffy and pillowy. The schnitzel main dish was fine but unremarkable. The side salads were lacking in flavour and freshness. Dessert was available but I passed on it since it didn’t look great. The meal, with a glass of wine, came to around €30, which didn’t seem like good value. I left full but somewhat disappointed. In fairness, I came at the end of a weekday so maybe the kitchen was running low on food / running out of fresh food. Given all the other positive reviews for this restaurant I wonder whether my experience is an outlier. This is one of the only vegan restaurants on the island so I’d be willing to give it another chance.
Read moreThe restaurant is café style and has a decent amount of seating. It’s a bit dated and it could use a rejuvenation, but the decoration is fun.

Maltas Vegan Fortress - Edit
The area is located in Sliema, situated on a relatively busy street, and parking is a bit of a struggle. There..thats the only cons 😃
Read moreWhen you enter the place, you’re welcomed with warm colors, art work and lovely staff.
There is enough space and not tight walled as some other places in here on the island.
The menu offers a perfect balanced selection from healthy salads to a naughty bun 🍔
I ordered a NO Schnitzel which was convincing off the menu description.
I was offered an appetizer, which was a form a pate like spread. It reminded a bit of olive pate, but the contents of it was mysterious, but delicious.
The schnitzel dish was beautifully presented and generous in portion, consisting of side condiments of fresh greens and starch. Full of flavor with a balance of savory and sweet pallets, made this one of the best dishes I’ve had in an all vegan restaurant.
Let alone the staff, very helpful, approachable and polite.
I will recommend this place to anyone, non vegan or vegan, because this place is a true mood lifter and appetite checker 😉
Pros: Lovely selection , Staff, Fresh ingredients
Cons: Parking

A rare all vegan near Valletta - Edit
It was nice to come here and have the whole menu to choose from as opposed to one or two options at other restaurants. We tried the burger and the doner kebab. Both tasted good and were sizable. It has a relaxed and friendly environment not too far from the Valletta ferry. I would visit again

The best vegan place around - Edit
The best meal I had in Malta! And people working are perfect.
Read moreAs a free appetizer they gave us broad bean spread with toasted bread. As starters we orders the NO Calamari Crunch (oyster mushrooms & garlic mayo) and the Bao Buns (filled with hoisin duck & asian style salad).
As mains we ate the NO SCHNITZEL (made from PST served with potatoes, raw veggies & tzatziki sauce) and the CAULIFLOWER NO STEAK (cauliflower, mushrooms, pea-tahini, cherry tomatoes, pine nuts) .
The portions are generous so we asked for a boggy bag, and had a delicious dinner later in the day with the leftovers.
You must go there at least once.

A must - Edit
This was by far my favourite space in Malta. Incredible food, beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, board games, great service, friendly, and fully vegan. The flavours were light and playful. The plates were so well put together and we sat surrounded by photos of amazing women and activists. This place is incredibly queer and my girlfriend and I were over the moon with the intersectionality here. Servers even came up to double check about allergies and replacements. The level of consciousness is 🥹🥰.
Read moreThey make a variety of drinks including a hot chocolate I will be coming back for. They’re also one of the only vegan restaurants I’ve ever seen to be open late (until 10pm or later!). They also accept card.

CONGRATULATIONS VEGANS!! - Edit
The burgers were great and the coffee delicious. Worth a stop when you are on the island. Thanks for going vegan, I am so happy to read this update.
Read moreWhen it was raining hard and there was no other place for me to go in Malta, I found Balance Bowl and despite being very upset with the owner for ruining a perfectly good cafe with lacto-ovo death cult items I ordered food and spent my afternoon waiting for my flight with them. I made the case for ditching the bad stuff and going vegan.
I am so extremely pleased to see their listing change from evil to good. It's like a happy little miracle. I believe the owner's name is Georgia if my memory serves me correctly and she was very considerate and engaged while I made my case, bemoaning her to consider please ditching the animal abuse products and in the end she promised to work towards that goal.
A million blessings on your ascent to the vegan club!
And how is your baby duck?

Pricey but delicious food - Edit
I enjoyed the food here: we ate crumbed mushroom nuggets and the gyros with fries. The prices are higher than average, but some of the portions were big too. Ordered a second time and got the burger, schnitzel, and some starters. I think the gyros is the winner in terms of value. Also thought there was a good variety on the menu and not just falafel bowls (thankfully!)

Amazing and tasteful - Edit
In this colorful café they have a first floor with sofas and a manageable menu with all from smoothies, wraps or wakame salad. I’ve tried almost all on their menu and everything has been very tasty and left me feel satisfied and perfectly full. Their serving sizes also fit very well for one person, or else you’re able to bring the leftovers in a doggy bag they’ll make for you. I’ll definitely come back to this place if I go to Malta again, big recommendation from me!
