Finding this place through Happy Cow, I was hopeful of finding some Danish pastry here, or vegan cake or pie or cookies...
Read moreWhen I inquired about vegan koffiekoeken or pastry, it seemed they hardly knew what I was talking about. No offer of vegan koffiekoeken, gebak, cookies etc. Only vegan carrotspread for sandwiches.
So why do they have a sticker with 'vegan friendly' on the window? 🤔🤔

Love love love their vegan sandwiches - Edit
Sandwiches made with grilled veggies, hummus...even vegan pesto at times. My absolute takeaway sandwich joint in my hometown of Leuven. Just say Vegan and they will make you something yummy and inexpensive.

Vleugels heeft 4 veganbroodjes die elk erg lekker zijn. Ze hebben de standaard hummus en avocadospread maar ook een zelfgemaakte 'summerspread' en 'wortelspread' die erg de moeite zijn. Ook het brood is vegan. De koffiekoeken, jammer genoeg, niet.
