Serves meat, vegan options available. A 'dining for a cause' restaurant which gives opportunity to disadvantaged youth by teaching them how to cook, serve and manage restaurants. Located next to the Hanoi Museum of Ethnology. Menu includes a page of vegetarian/vegan choices, with dishes such as crunchy tofu with peanut sauce and rice noodles; veg and tofu spring rolls; vegetable rice; vegetable noodles; and stuffed aubergine.

Bit bland - Edit
I went to this restaurant when visiting the museum of ethnology. They have a short vegetarian menu. I ordered the stuffed aubergines. They were very bland. The service was friendly but really slow.

Baguette and Choc - Edit
The location of the restaurant is incorrect on your Hanoi map. It shows on Van Mieu where the Temple of Literature is Hoan Kiem. Next to Museum of Ethnology is in Cau Giaiy another area. Not sure why it has been accepted on Happy Cow. As the poster of that place has stated it has food with dairy, eggs etc. Certainly not Vegan not Happy Cow!
Read moreToday 16th October I visited this place for lunch. Of the 50 odd 'carni' dishes there was one page of 6 'vegan' dishes. I had Nem Cuon Chay (5 raw spring rolls) 65,000d, Sauteed noodles with mixed vegetables 75,000d, Fresh mixed vegetables 55,000d. Service was good and food was also good.

Delicious stuffed aubergine (eggplant) - Edit
This restaurant is next to the Hanoi Museum of Ethnology ( a fascinating place which I highly recommend visiting). It’s not a dedicated vegetarian restaurant, but it does offer a full page of vegan options including crunchy tofu with peanut sauce and noodles; veg + tofu spring rolls with noodles; veg rice; veg noodles; and stuffed aubergine. I went for the stuffed aubergine (75vnd) and was really impressed. The stuffing was very flavourful, it reminded me of moussaka. I could detect soy protein, garlic, herbs, and sesame. The aubergine was cooked to perfection, silky and no bitterness; perfectly complemented by the tangy fresh tomato sauce and steamed rice.

Hi it might have been much better to say this place is on the Museum of Ethnology grounds, rather than next to the place. Also the map is still incorrectly shown. Thats Van Mieu being shown.
