Great service, ok food - Edit
We came here for lunch to try the vegan burgers. The flavours were ok, however the key ingredients (jackfruit or 'chicken') were sparse, resulting in an underwhelming overall experience. The 'chicken' and the vegan cheese each only covered about 1/4 - 1/3 of the bun - not what you expect for a $17.50 burger when you have to eat most of the burger to find the good stuff, then pay extra for the chips.
Read moreI'm not sure if they've cut back the filling due to rising costs or if they've always been like this. Either way they're over-priced. Unlikely to return :(
Pros: A few vegan options, Great, helpful service
Cons: Burger fillings are minimal for the price, Really pricey

At least four vegan burger options - all yum, plus vegan loaded fries, and amazing cauliflower with maple syrup.

Preparation is not vegan - Edit
Cauliflower and fries marked vegan on the menu are fried in the same oil as meat.
Read moreSame griddle used for cooking ‘vegan’ burger patties and meat ones, with minimal care taken to avoid cross-contamination.

Yummy vegan burgers but long wait - Edit
We've been here a couple of times now and they have some really great junky vegan options. The cauli wings are seriously amazing and probably the best vegan item in the menu imo. The trumped burger (Mexican spicy jackfruit with nachos on it) is also pretty good, the cheese slab was super thick and a bit much for me but overall still yum. The wait times are usually massive though (45 minutes last time we went there) so don't go there already hungry!
Read morePros: Cauli wings are amazing, Several good vegan burger options , Good place to take resistant omni friends
Cons: Consistently huge wait times, Fairly expensive

Greasy. Slow. Wouldn’t return. - Edit
The food is extremely greasy. The fried broccoli is usually sold out which instantly limits options. If not, it’s very greasy. The service is stupidly slow - as in over one hour wait usually for a burger & one side. Went once. Never went back.
Read morePros: Options. Several choices which are labelled vegan, That’s it
Cons: Slow. I mean really slow, Greasy. The food is usually soaking in oil, Cross contamination is a concern here

Wouldn’t return here! - Edit
I was really excited to go here after reading reviews but it was just awful. The vegan burger I got was so poorly put together it fell apart instantly. There was so much bbq sauce on it the bread was soggy and formed holes... causing it to be EXTREMELY messy. It was falling apart and so messy I took 2 small bites and literally threw it in the trash. Also, got the fried cauliflower.... employee told me they’re vegan... got them and they were drenched in honey. The taste of the burger was pretty good.... However they should really change up how they make them. People want to enjoy their food not pick it up from

Coconut Bacon - Edit
Great little spot in among a collection of restaurants, food court style (but better). They have at least one dedicated vegan sandwich on the menu, but also mention being able to make their other burgers and dishes vegan as well. T'was tasty and pretty reasonably priced ($12NZD for a sandwich).
Read morePros: Reasonably priced., Tasty food., Friendly staff.
Cons: Menu could use more clarification on vegan options, Takes a while to order and be served.

Awesome options - Edit
I agree that the name of the place is misleading & off putting for vegans & vegos. The staff are awesome & very accomidating. Awesome to see that almost all menu items can be veganised at no extra charge. Gf options are available & not out of the usual for what's available elsewhere. They are incredibly busy friday/sat nights and you have to wait about an hour for food, but never been disappointed. During the week it is fine. Very casual setting with an awesome atmosphere. I try to order something new every time I go & have never had any problems.

The name is just misleading - Edit
Had the vegetarian Roxy made in vegan which was delicious, yummy fries and also the broccoli was really good. I also had the vegan burger in gluten free but didn’t like the bread, was just toast. So if you don’t necessarily eat gf, I’d recommend not to choose this option. Only thing is that I wouldn’t have gone there bc of the name but friends recommended it and the vegan options are really yummy.

Cons: The name of the place , Too much packaging and plastic for sauces
