Leuke plek. Voor een 3 gangen menu betaal je €26,50. We waren met z’n vijven en probeerden alle voorgerechten. Vooral de linzensoep was erg lekker. Springrolls & ciabatta met humus en aioli vielen ook in de smaak. De hoofdgerechten waren lekker, maar ze waren helaas lauw. Met name de zoete aardappelfrietjes vonden we heerlijk (krokant, smaakvol).

- carrotcake: (heb ik zelf maar 1 hapje van op, kan me even niet meer herinneren wat ik daarvan vond. Volgens mij wel lekker 🤷🏼♀️)
- oreotaart: goede smaak, cakelagen een beetje droog, de topping is heeft een meringue-achtige structuur (heel lekker)

Great coffee. Açai bowls! - Edit
To earn 5 stars get gluten free bread and get rid of regular milk. You can’t claim to do healthy food if your food is going to make celiacs like me sick. Simply having bread opens up a ton more hot food items to people with the disease like me. And it’s such a simple fix to add these items to your menu: it’s a no brainier. Your coffee is fire tho and so is the açai bowl.

Great atmosphere and amazing food - Edit
I always love having lunch at Backyard, and today was no different. I ordered the Ceasar salad which has vegan chicken, sauce, avocado and croutons. It was a light, but nutritious salad.

Delicious food with outstanding design inside. You really can feel like you are in a beautiful garden.😄There is a lot of space - two floors outside area. Staff is nice, helpful and friendly. Food delicious, many choices - fast foods like kapsalon or burgers, but also more healthy meals like for example bowls. Breakfasts, alcohols, coffee - you will find everything. Prices are a little bit above an average but still affordable. Highly recommend this place :)

Restaurant mainly offers burgers and sandwiches. We had a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries, which were good even though a bit pricey, pita bread with dips and veggie fried rolls (both good but nothing special). Given the available choices in the city centre it’s a good option!

And that’s how I ended up having breakfast there 4 times, all 4 times I had the toasty cheese, I just loved it, and the aioli was amazing. They also have a fantastic apple pie, that is more like a cake, but delicious nonetheless. Nice ambiance, great service, friendly staff, pretty place. I absolutely recommended this place.

Had the smoothie bowl which was spinach and fruit blend, with granola and fresh fruit. Was a big portion, very tasty and healthy too. Coffee was great and good service. Very big venue but we were the only people there but it had just opened.
