Decent burger

Had the vegan bao-burger, great idea with pretty good execution. Tofu was firm and crispy. Waffle chips good. Take away purely in a box without heaps of other bags and packaging.

Good for a small meal

Not as good as its sister restaurant 'Lazy Su' which have more vegan options and a nicer decor. Had the tofu baoger and waffle cut fries, they have Asahi on tap too ✌️

Cons: Not many vegan options

Eeek.

Great for a quick bite

Not many vegan options but tasty. The tofu burger was bland but ok and the gyoza very good. Service is friendly and quick. Waitress happy to advise. Clean cafe and bathroom. Central location in Civic.

Fun place with very accessible for

We really enjoyed our dine-in meal during Covid times (with reduced table capacity and staff registering diners for contact tracing) with the venue and staff being bright and cheerful. The vegetarian burger with the Japanese croquette can be made vegan on request - I didn't make this clear enough when ordering so mine came with cheese which I decided to eat rather than letting food go to waste - and is available as a meal with waffle fries and salad. The vegan gyoza were tasty as was the miso roasted pumpkin rice bowl although I personally would have preferred the pumpkin a little more cooked and softer. I really wanted to have the vegan soft serve or sundae but I don't think it was being offered during Covid times (although I didn't ask) as the soft serve machine behind the counter wasn't operational and it wasn't on the in-store menu even if shown online.
