I got a vegan mixed bowl from the food truck at way out west festival and everything tasted great.
Read moreThe bowl had a farini - a nice crispy donut with a soft centre, okra spenat gryta - okra and spinach fried with a load of aromatics and spices, tiga - a peanut stew with various vegetables in it, nandji - a tomato stew sith some beans and pulses, it was all served with two types of rice and I got a blob of chilli sauce - this was incredibly hot. The peanut sauce in particular stood out as being incredibly tasty and full of flavour

West-African restaurant with four vegan options on the menu. My favourite is the peanut stew. Don't miss the ginger drink (quite spicy!) and fried plantain on the side. But come hungry, it's very filling! 😋 Cosy inside with traditional table cloths etc. Exciting with a different food culture other than the common ones you can find in every corner.

African food, pretty wide definition, this is food from Mali, and it is absolutely amazing. The taste is rich and flavorful (be gentle with the offered chili sauce!), the portions won't leave you hungry. And you can enjoy an African beer or glass of wine with your food.
