Nice view, only one vegan dish. - Edit
Only the veganburger dish was vegan and they brought the fries out with mayo which after asking turned out to not be vegan.

Some good vegan options in a beautifully renovated pub serving meals - Edit
I salute every new initiative for vegan options in this countryside region in the southern part of the Netherlands. Location is great; amid a beautiful walking area. The former pub/hotel is beautifully renovated. Cosy atmosphere with a delicate balance between new and old items. At the terrace, you can enjoy the nice sight over the hills and valleys of the southern part of the Netherlands. Because of the weather, we couldn’t sit outside but we are planning to do one day. The round table we sat at indoors, with the three of us wasn’t very practical (not enough space). The music was a bit loud to our taste.
Read moreLike all other pubs serving meals with vegan options, there aren’t a lot of options. But the options they have suffice. We hope they will expand the options and tap into their creativity (other options than burgers or croquettes). We had a beetroot carpaccio; normally there’s goat cheese with it like the staff indicated. It isn’t mentioned in the menu. So be aware, to make sure to state your vegan and don’t want the goat cheese on top of it. I’am not sure if we had a replacement for the goat cheese. Would have been great when the staff would mention this when serving. I appreciate it when they reduce the price if a non-vegan produce isn’t replaced with a decent alternative. The accompanying bread had a muhammara dip with it. We found that the spicy taste of the muhammara distracted from the subtle tastes of the beetroot carpaccio (topped with a raspberry dressing). A hummus dip would have been better. We think the vegan burger was a beyond meat burger. There was no hummus with it, liked mentioned on the menu, but instead they used the muhammara. This time, the muhammara fitted better. It was nice to see they automatically gave us the ketchup, instead of a mayonaise. So I assume they haven’t got vegan mayonnaise. Would be great if they would have this as an option. The fries were made of sweet potato and tasted great 👍.
We will go back one day and eat vegetables croquettes (if indeed vegan) at the terrace enjoying the view.
