Too touristic for my taste and they still don't accept card payments... - Edit
Went to Azzurro a few years ago for the first time and I admit their sorbets (which are suitable for vegans) are good, but in peak season/peak hours be prepared to queue. And the thing that really annoys me is that they STILL, in 2024, only accept cash payments. This is really a deal breaker for me, I recommend highly that you try Papilla instead, the service is much more friendly and they take card payments.

On the wall they have a poster which tells you the allergens in each flavour, so you can identify the dairy free options. I had the chocolate and the lavender. Loved the lavender!
Read moreSome of the flavour names on the poster differed so I just didn’t go for those, but you can double check with staff if you’re really interested in them (eg. The gingerbread!)

Homemade Delight - Edit
Tried the mango, strawberry, passion fruit, and the cacao as well the fig were my favourites. The flavours all stood out but worked well in a cup together. You can order a vegan milkshake as well for 6€. It was busy and it wasn’t something I ordered, so I didn’t ask what milk they make it with. The homemade waffle cones are not vegan.
