Excellent food, lovely ambience, great vegan selections - Edit
Azafran is one of those few Indian restaurants where each dish has its own distinct taste instead of having the exact same seasoning and sauces. Everything we ordered was different in flavors and was excellent. There’s an extensive vegan menu which was fantastic.

Outstanding! Full of flavor! - Edit
I ordered a vegan mushroom dish with red sauce and a vegan jackfruit dish with a coconut sauce. This was the best Indian food I’ve ever had. They have several vegan options with a separate menu section.

Vegan versions of traditional Indian dishes - Edit
Even though the main menu lists some vegan items you should ask for the specific vegan menu. It has most of the traditional North Indian dishes that you normally have to pass on if you want vegan

Vegan Naan Y'all - Edit
Plentiful options, including a dedicated vegan menu (check the website if the physical one doesn't have it). They even have the ever-elusive naan bread FTW (I usually just find roti at central-Asian joints).
Read moreI got the garlic naan, Goan Vegetable Curry and 2-pc samosa. All ran me about $40 - which may border on the lush-side for a weeknight takeout venture. But all in all, considering the fresh and flavorful fare, and probable leftovers, this is a great option for when you want to treat yourself, even if it's for no reason.

Vegan Menu - Edit
Some things were ok. Too much going on with the flavors, like they're trying to be too fancy. Sometimes you just want traditional dishes; if so, this may not be your place.
Read moreSAMOSAS - called Rajwadi samosas, this is their twist on traditional samosas. They were nutty, so I wasn't the biggest fan, but the flavor was good. I just couldn't pass that nutty texture.
GOBHI MANCHURIAN - I didn't like them at all and ended up throwing them away. They didn't have the crisp breading that I like and the flavor was extremely tomatoey.
BHINDI AMCHOOR - I love bhindi masala, but this was different. It was tasty but there was too much going on. Not worth the $15 price tag.
GARLIC NAAN - they have vegan garlic naan upon request and it was really good.
CARROT PUDDING - a vegan dessert offering. I didn't like it. It wasn't sweet or appealing at all to me.
Unfortunately, there was nothing here that would cause me to return for any reason. I am, however, pleased that they offer a vegan menu, which is worth the extra star.

I love this place!!! - Edit
I love coming here with my family because I have a whole vegan menu and they also have options. The food is amazing and delicious! I love the vegan garlic naan and I usually get the veggie korma which is yummy! I 100% recommended this place to everyone! My mom, who’s not a vegan, eats vegan here so it’s legit!

We eat Indian food very often and this may have been the best Indian food we've ever had!!!!!!
LOVE that they offer an all vegan menu (have non vegan as well).
We ordered everything medium and all was perfect!!!
All these dishes were 5*!!
Appetizer - cauliflower manchuria
Tofu Portabella Kadhai
Vegetable masaala
Vegan naan
This wasn't 5*
Jackfruit Makhni-
The sauce was yummy but the dish tasted skimpy with only jackfruit in it.
All our other dishes were chock full of veggies and much prefer that so wouldnt order this dish again.
Can't wait to return and try more!!

The staff is very knowledgeable about the all vegan menu so you can ask them questions and get good answers. Once you let them know that you are eating off the vegan menu you never need to specify again. The food is amazing too!

Would give their vegan menu 5 stars if I could! I had the veggie masala and it was AMAZING. Great portion size too. I also had their vegan garlic naan and, wow, I haven’t had naan in so long - it was so amazing to have! I’m so glad they have such an extensive vegan menu. Will absolutely go back and get more dishes!!

On my come-here-often list - Edit
This restaurant has a very refined ambience and a large vegan menu. The description of the dishes in the menu was very enticing. I was with my wife and son (both not vegan (yet)), but all the appetizers, breads, and main meals we ordered were vegan. We all thought that everything we ordered was delicious. Some of the dishes, like the vegetable kofta, I've never seen at other places. The dishes all tasted different from each other as well. For me, this experience was on a par with going to a full vegan restaurant. We will definitely be back.
