Staple when we lived nearby - Edit
My wife and I would get the vegan trifecta with iced coffee like 3x a week when we lived in my parents house temporarily after moving across country - so good! The daring chicken sandwich was delicious as well, and it seems like they keep adding more and more. Super nice people as well, I think one of the owners is vegan so she cares. #Veganuary

Good vegan options - Edit
I’ve visited this place three times even though I live half an hour away in Danbury CT. All three times I had their Vegan Triecta breakfast sandwich (Just Egg patty, Impossible sausage, Violife cheddar on a bagel) and it was delicious. Adding a hash brown is an option and I went for it every time. Their coffee is also decent and I love that all of their plant milks are made in house with no upcharge! Growing up in Brooklyn NY, I can’t give their bagels a great review. Their plain bagel didn’t have much flavor and weren’t too chewy, yet somehow their rainbow bagel was a bit better.

We thought they gave us the wrong thing - Edit
I saw an Instagram ad for this place and decided if I ever was in the area I’d try it. My non vegan boyfriend tried it first and thought there was no way it was vegan. Luckily we figured out it was based on the just egg shape and it was so tasty. It’s so hard to find vegan breakfast sandwiches so I’ll definitely be returning, hopefully soon!

Excellent portions - Edit
I love this place. I’ve been here for breakfast (vegan trifecta sandwich) and lunch (vegan chik’n sandwich) and both did not disappoint. They put a lot on the sandwiches. My chik’n one was HEAVY and had a lot on it. Wish I lived closer! People who work there are so nice, too.

Best Vegan Options in CT!! 5 STARS - Edit
The vegan egg salad sandwich is by far the best egg sandwich I’ve ever had! We also had the vegan chicken sandwich and chili, both were amazing, very savory and filling. The coffee is also one of my favorites about Ayla, so many different flavors!
Read moreHaving been on the search for so many vegan options like this, reminiscent of the foods I had growing up, Ayla’s really does hit the spot.
I also really appreciated the variety of options as well, it’s not often that you can get to choose from many vegan sandwiches, quiches, bagels, baked goods, soups etc.
The restaurant also has a really welcoming and great ambiance. The staff were all lovely and the food came out very quickly. I will definitely be coming back to try more of their wonderful food!
I would give a full 5 stars if it was an option on HappyCow for restaurants that aren’t fully vegan.
Hands down one of the best spots I have visited!
Pros: Lots of variety, Great coffee , Ambiance

Great bagel shop with a lot of vegan items available - Edit
We got the Vegan Trifecta (Just egg, Beyond breakfast sausage and Chao Cheeze) on everything bagels. Delicious!! Plus some bagels for home. The menu also had Daring chick’n with lettuce, tomato, pickles, etc, and chick’n salad. They had what seemed to be all vegan quiches, plus scones, cookies, and muffins. This will be a regular stop for us for sure!!

Tonya, while that was true that they were often out of vegan quiche. It's now a staple of the shop and have this available everyday now.
