Excellent resort in the Maldives

The menus all have vegan options listed, but the chefs really shine when they're going off menu. Tell them you want local food and when you're going to show up and you will be amazed. The restaurants Kai and Magu seemed to be competing for best vegan chef. I won that competition.
The teppanyaki grill was fun. Bats fly over head while you eat. The chef was able to cook vegan on one side and the omnis we're on the other. He was diligent about utensils and such. Definitely book in advance to make that happen.
The breakfast buffet has plenty of vegan items like cuties and dosas, along with standard fruits and pastries. The staff is happy to walk you around and tell you what's vegan. You can pre-order vegan pancakes and other food as well.
Each menu has vegan items, and they are actually vegan. You can get those any time. If you let them know what you want in advance, they will pretty much make anything for you. It was a wonderful experience.

Pros: Chefs trying to outdo each other, Breakfast, Local food

Cons: Charge for water
