Very flavorful, filling, and an overall positive experience. There are a few vegan options which was really nice to see. I would come back again!

Fabulous vegan options - Edit
Had lunch at this marvelous restaurant. Part of their menu is vegan and not the manufactured type. Injera, made from the super food Tef, is the base. The wots are all plant based. So many times vegan options are Beyond burgers or a small house salad. Not here. Love this restaurant and will definitely return.

The vegetarian combination platter is excellent. Note that, for a small extra charge, you can order injera made only with teff, but give them 24 hours notice. The teff has much more flavor and isn't so bulky as the wheat injera. Get the fresh lemonade!

I love Ethiopian food. There aren't too many Ethiopian places in South Florida so when I found Awash I got super excited. And it's right by my house! The food is delicious and authentic. Lots and lots of veggie options and all clearly marked.
