OK and kind staff - Edit
I had some quite nice cauliflower. It was nice, but perhaps not the healthiest thing in the world and a bit too spicy for my taste.
Read moreThen I had some noodles with mushrooms - it was a very big portion and I was unable to finish it. I would have preferred a bit more vegetables. It is not the most sophisticated cuisine ...
The staff was very kind !

Great little place with lots of tasty vegan options - Edit
Awabi is a great little pan-Asian restaurant offering lots of great vegan options. We took our waiter's advise and ordered three small plates and one large plate between the two of us and it turned out to be just the right amount of food. The three small plates - the veggie dumplings, Korean fried cauliflower and the hot & sour aubergine - were all very, very good. The only let down was the kimchi fried rice which was still good but didn't quite hit the heights of the other dishes. We washed everything down with a bottle of soju (Korea's favourite liquer). The total bill came to £68.75 including a 10% service charge, which we felt was very reasonable given the quality of the food.
Read moreIt is quite small and very popular so make sure you book if you want to eat at peak times. We tried to get a table last minute and were left with the choice of dining at either 6pm or 845pm. You'll be offered a choice of the restaurant or bar - both are great but be aware that you'll be seated on high stools if you choose the latter which may not suit everyone.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Delicious food, Nice vibe
Cons: Need to book

Food was incredible - would give 5 stars if HappyCow would let me. Not very familiar with Korean food and staff was helpful.

Nice Korean food - Edit
Went here with my wife today! Bonus it is open sundays unlike many places in st Helier.
Read moreThe food was really nice. Small plates and larger ones come when it is ready we got 4 small and 2 large and it was loads we had them pack up essentially a whole large dish.
Food was really tasty and different to anything we have had before (though not experts on Korean). Staff were formerly.
Meal for 2 with loads of food, drink each and a shared dessert was £60.
Pros: Loads of vegan options, Friendly staff, Tasty food
