Favorite place in Nashville - Edit
The vibe of avo was really cool from the outside and seems to be part of a newer development (I am not from Nash so don’t know the area) and matches in hipness on the inside. We were seated immediately and the staff was friendly and provided great service the whole time.
Read moreWe ordered some spring roll appetizers that were filling but also light. For entrees, my wife got the green bowl while I got the pad Thai. Both had a fantastic taste, texture and were fairly filling. We took the cheesecake to go and it was insanely good.
While this place was a bit pricier than the other 3 places we went while visiting Nashville, it hit every mark and was both of our favorites - even if we wouldn’t visit it as frequently as some of the other places that are cheaper if we lived here. Highly recommend for date nights and for anybody visiting Nashville for the first time.
Pros: Wholesome plants served up fancifully , Great environment, Friendly staff and good service
Cons: A bit costly

Pretty good - Edit
We got take out and it was extremely busy in there so it took a while, which was understandable. I got a buffalo tempeh wrap which was good, not great, but I would definitely give them another try. The restaurant was super cute and I’d love to experience a full sit down meal there. Would try again

Being close by, Avo is a good option for me. The menu is limited which makes it difficult to find just what you "wanted." The yucca fries are life. Highly recommend.

Amazing food and service - Edit
We went to Avo for dinner on a Saturday night during a visit to Nashville and had a tremendous experience. Our party of two got a table right away despite there being a good-size crowd, and our waiter, Dillon, was awesome. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about the city and its vegan food scene, and gave us a list of recommendations after we’d finished dinner. Said dinner was awesome, by the way. The buffalo cauliflower, soup of the day (tomato basil), Cali burger, green bowl and corn muffin were all delicious. The burger was one of the best veggie burgers I’ve ever had, hands down. We were too full for dessert, but incredibly satisfied with dinner. Also, their music selection was a great mix of classic and modern rock. AVO is a must.

Healthy options for vegans in Nashville - Edit
As much as I love vegan junk food, sometimes, especially in summer, my body craves some healthy food. But just because you want something healthy doesn't mean you want something boring and that's where Avo delivers.
Read moreSet in the OneC1ty development (along with Kokos Ice Cream Shop), Avo offers indoor seating, bar seating, and a small patio next to a sand volleyball court. You wouldn't guess Avo is inside an actual shipping container because the interior feels so spacious despite it being small in reality.
Food here is excellent and always packed full of balanced flavors and nutrients. My two favorites that keep me from exploring more of the menu are the fresh summer rolls with peanut sauce and the kale caesar salad. That salad is still my favorite vegan caesar I've ever had! If you are inclined to have an alcoholic beverage, I can absolutely recommend the avocado margarita, it is a delicious thing to cool down a hot summer day on the patio.
Be warned though, the portion sizes are enormous. I generally struggle to finish my main if we've also shared an appetizer (even though I order the half sized salad, it's big enough to fit into a mixing bowl). To avoid food waste, consider sharing items if you have a group with a mind to do so.
I will mention two things that make me hesitate to eat here instead of ordering on Postmates. First, every time I've been here I've had a rushed experience where staff have tried to usher me quickly into selecting food. If you're slammed, I get it, if not, please back off. Second, I feel the majority of people who eat here are not vegan. That's okay and encouraged, but you won't feel a sense of community here.
Pros: All vegan restaurant, Healthy options, Outdoor seating
Cons: Can get pricy, Huge portion sizes, Inconvenient location

Delicious vegan food - Edit
Food was delicious, specially kimchi rolls are very very good. Kale cesar salad felt a little greasy but fried chickpeas were very crunchy and nice. Best of all was passion fruit cheesecake, a bit pricey but very generous portions a absolutely delicious. My friend had another salad looked very good. She did have a misunderstanding with waitress who brought a full size salad when she ordered a half salad. But experience was positive overall.

What a treat! - Edit
The food was so fresh and incredibly delicious! We shared the Caesar salad with chickpeas, the fingerling potatoes over guacamole, and the kimchi spring rolls, which should not be missed. For dessert, we had the brownie that was topped with a delicious ganache and a scoop of cardamom and espresso ice cream. I absolutely will return!
