Love Pho! - Edit
As best as I can tell this is one of the only Vietnamese restaurants in BR with a vegetable pho in vegetable broth. Lots of others in Baton Rouge still use a chicken or beef broth in their vegetable pho. And the veggie broth at Ava Street is so rich and delicious! Also, their customer service is great:)

Three stars because they serve meat here. But vegan options were fantastic! - Edit
Wasn’t expecting much from a Vietnamese restaurant in BR, but was pleasantly surprised. The spring rolls and steamed buns made great appetizers and the 225 vegan bowl was delicious. Glad we went while in town visiting our non-vegan family.

Why give it 3 stars when you were impressed just because they also serve meat? Should they just remove their vegan menu since it's only 3 star worthy?

Vegan friendly, delicious - Edit
Ava builds their vegan options around lemon grass tofu. For example, they offers a tofu bahn me sandwich (specify vegan, and they'll spread avocado on it instead of mayo), a noodle bowl (with delicious sauce and lots of fresh veggies, along with the tofu), cold spring rolls (filled with veggies and tofu, served with peanut sauce), and occasionally vegan pho. For a few weeks last winter, there was a vegan spicy noodle soup that was AMAZING -- check the special board in the front when you walk in!
Read moreThe food is all good. Portions are generous -- the noodle bowl is probably enough for two meals for most people, so plan on leftovers (or share).
Pros: Freshness of food, Freshness of food, Generous portions
Cons: Limeade is bland (skip it!), Service can be slow when busy
