The ladies and the guy who work here were absolutely lovely. It is pretty standard fare that you expect for veg spots in Thailand and much of Vietnam. They have some prepared buffet food, that can be had with rice or Hu Tieu(pho, basically) and another dish. They also serve sweet soy milk and ice tea(for 1000vnd!) Two people can eat vegan here for just over a dollar! But the best part is how sweet they were. They brought free roasted bananas, and refilled our ¢5 tea. This might not be the best meal you’ll eat in Vietnam, but they were extremely joyful and that goes far with me.
There are five items on the menu, including two drinks. No English is spoken or on the menu. But the food is good and the staff very friendly.
The ladies running it were very pleased to help me stir up my noodles, and were delighted with my (very) basic Vietnamese. And if only all restaurants gave you a tray of freshly cut herbs to add to your meal at will!
The rice noodle soup, Hủ Tiếu, was simple but good.
