Sooo good! - Edit
We had just moved from Atlanta (tons of vegan places) to Canton (none of vegan places) and I was getting pretty bummed out at the lack of options here when I found Atypical Vegan on Happy Cow. We went to check it out around lunchtime, and all my skepticism about a restaurant inside a gas station was immediately gone when we were greeted by the amazing Chef Richard. Chef took his time patiently answering our questions, and we decided to sample the wings; some of each flavor, the savage burger, and the Himalayan fries, with the homemade tea and lemonade. We were blown away. As two native ATLiens, we know our wings- and Chef’s wings are some of the best we’ve had, vegan or not! Everything, from the chips and salsa to the Cakelanta red velvet cupcake was amazing. Chef Richard was a gracious host and his story is so inspiring. He really knows his vegan food! We liked it so much, that we’ve been ordering breakfast through Uber Eats regularly! The biscuits, tots, chicken and waffles, and the Jamaican patties are all legit the best we’ve had! 10/10 will eat again

Positively amazing. So flavorful. - Edit
we were immediately greeted by the owner/chef, who explained everything to us in detail. The options were amazing and everything is totally vegan. The vegan shrimp tasted very very good. The patient sing in the potato/“egg” dish was superb We ordered a second meal to go for later in the day. We expect those dishes to be just as good. You can get the food to go or there is a small place to sit in the middle of a Gas station convenience store. The spicing in the potato/“egg“ dish was superb.

GIFT FROM GOD N MORE! - Edit
We stumbled upon Atypical Vegan N More on our 11-day road trip from PA to FL and back. It was like no other vegan experience along the way! The moment we walked in the door, we knew we were in a very special place, because we were immediately greeted by the most amazingly interesting and cool restaurant owner we'd ever met. Meet Richard F. Glenn, vegan chef extroidinaire and author of inspiration. Richard helped us navigate his most-delicious-looking and inviting menu, which consists of over 30, all-vegan options. Then the fun began! We actually spent the next three hours sampling and discovering foods and flavors that we'd never even imagined were possible in the vegan world! We knew from the first bite that Richard knows what he is doing when it comes to vegan cooking. Starting with the homemade tortilla chips and exceptionally fresh and delicious salsas and Richard's fresh-brewed hibiscus iced tea! We were now refreshed and ready to take on the to-die-for Beyond sausage and Just Egg biscuit (the biscuit is homemade, btw), topped with melting cheese, of course and a side of Richard's homemade Welcome Home Fries and an order of crispy tater crowns! OMG!!!OMG!!!OMG!!!OMG!!! Then, as if we weren't completely satisfied and full enough already, we were having so much fun, and became so intrigued, that we decided to try the famous smoked Savage Burger, topped with cheese again, of course. Wow! The burger was the absolute best we've ever eaten, anywhere, even before we were vegan! Then, we added an order of Pecan Smokies wings, half garlic parm and half spicy jerk, and a side of Richard's homemade, fresh cut Papa's Fries tossed in a spicy cajun seasoning, to go, so we could have them for dinner later, which we did, along with a cold beer. Again, we were blown-away! The food was just what we were craving and satisfied our ever taste bud.
Read moreAnd it was wrapped so carefully with love, and I was able to heat it, and bring it back to life just as Richard would expect! Lastly, Richard so kindly acknowledged by birthday, with a complimentary, homemade Cakelanta red velvet, cream cheese iced cupcake, which is a must-have. We actually, got two more to go! Everything at Atypical Vegan N More made for a wonderful birthday memory and very full bellies. The only thing we still wish for, is that Richard would move to Pittsburgh, PA! We envy the people of Canton, GA. Our take-away...we will travel far and wide to have the Atypical Vegan N More experienc

Simply Amazing - Edit
Simply amazing. All of those reviews and stars aren't a mistake. One of the best burgers I've ever had, meat or otherwise, the meatball sub is phenomenal. My only disappointment was the lack of ability of my stomach and wallet to consume everything.
Read moreRichard is amazing. His story, his passion, and his path shine through in how he engages and the food he prepares.

Absolutely delicious food - Edit
Atypical Vegan n More catered my daughter's bridal shower. Richard was so helpful with selecting the perfect menu items. He also accurately calculated the amount of food needed for the guests. The food was nothing short of flavorful and delicious. Truly the best ever. I found my non vegan friends and family back in line for seconds. Serving was easy because Richard placed every item in labelled serving containers and included the serving utensils. He ordered for me all the sterno serving trays that the food needed as well. I didn't need delivery, pick up was smooth and easy. The food received tons of compliments for taste and appearance. I will definitely use and recommend Atypical Vegan n More. Bravo Richard!

Tasty food and awesome chef! - Edit
We just checked out Atypical Vegan - which is currently located inside a gas station - we were a little skeptical going into the gas station, but Richard (owner) was there to greet us and walk us through the expansive menu including pointing out the best sellers. We landed on fried mushrooms, wings (honey mustard), tater tots and a burger with fries. Every thing was delicious but the wings may have been our favorite - great flavor and texture! Richard shines bright with such a friendly and positive attitude - he definitely made our day with both his food and his energy!

The food was excellent! Chef Richard was very personable and fun! Don’t be deceived by its location. Yes it is inside the Chevron! Richard’s food needs its own restaurant with cloth tablecloths.

A Terrific Vegan Find! - Edit
The food here is amazing! The wings might be the best vegan wings I've ever had. We had a mini burger, tots, ranch wings, mac and cheese, and we had no complaints on any of it! This food raises the bar for vegan substitute expectations, it was obviously cooked with love, and not phoned in like most "burger" joints. The food is great, but the real star is Richard, who is rightfully proud of his creations, and will cheerfully walk you through the menu and the details. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love Atypical Vegan! The food is amazing, and the owner Richard is super nice and generous. Their pecan smokies are to die for, and I'm obsessed with the breakfast sandwiches. Can't wait to try the rest of their menu!

Richard is a really cool genuine guy who is very clearly passionate about what he does. We stopped on a rainy day and decided to check it out and we were so pleasantly surprised. You might think "ew gas station food" but it's far from it! Everything is fresh, hot, and made to order. I can't wait to give it another try!

I initially thought my Google search was not accurate. Tucked away inside a Chevron gas station, you would not expect to find this gem. I highly recommend you give it a try. It’s worth every penny.

Vegan comfort foods, friendly service. - Edit
The food choices are vast and tasty. The owner and daughter are friendly. Prices are reasonable for the market. My only dislike is they are a fledgling business starting out in a gas station space. Would love to see them in a more appropriate food service space.

Yum - Edit
I just moved to Canton and there aren’t a lot of good restaurants here at all, let alone vegan. But this place is good. I have only been once and got one of the Baja Burritos. They use daiya cheese, but I’m glad it wasn’t ready made so I could request no daiya! I was offered to try it with their homemade sour cream and guacamole and it was so yummy. The burrito was bit (on par with what you would get at a Moe’s or Willy’s). Probably took 15-20 minutes to get my food. The only con is that it’s not a standalone place so it was hard to spot. It’s located in Chevron gas station. But worth it!

The wings where so good and the burrito was massive and so delicious love that you get what you pay for. The owner is very friendly and nice the location is inside of Chevron and hard to find I think a sign outside will help other than that the place is amazing and the food so very delicious it won't disappoint you no matter what you choose to eat.
