Good vegetarian options, some vegan available - Edit
Atlético was recommended to us by several locals. They have a small dedicated vegetarian section on their menu, with options including grilled vegetable skewers (includes cheese but the menu said vegan option available) and vegetarian patties on a plate. Server confirmed the complementary garlic bread was vegan. Outdoor seating was spacious.

Rico pero sin proteína vegetal - Edit
La opción vegana son verduras asadas. La verdad es que estaban muy ricas pero no contaban con ninguna fuente de proteína vegetal, lo cual para mí es un fallo. Las porciones son más que generosas.

Nice staff - Edit
They have just one vegetarian dish (that can be made vegan) and the sides can be customised. The daily soup was not vegan when I was there. The portion was enormous 😁

An option - Edit
I really liked the inside and vibe, even though it is a really big restaurant. Might want to reserve it especially if you want to sit outside. They have one vegetarian dish from the grill. If you want to make it vegan ask to take out cheese and egg. For me personally it tasted too smokey. But the potatoes/salad in the side was ok.

One dish but a good one! - Edit
I ended up there because I couldn’t find anything else in Horta, but it was a nice surprise! There was a nice local vibe.
Read moreWhen you order a dish, they bring you garlic bread by default. I was not going to eat it but the super nice waitress told me that they make it with margarine so it’s vegan. Crunchy, soft, warm, garlicky, nice garlic bread.
They have one vegetarian dish on the menu and you have to request it without egg and cheese to make it vegan.
The vegetables are tasty, charred and smoky. It’s delicious and generously served.
