The food and drinks were delicious, and sitting among the market streets of Kardamena gave the experience a lovely charm.
Read moreBut what I really loved was the friendliness of the owners, and how they take a lot of pride in the food they make. How they took the time to explain where they source the ingredients, such as thyme from the local mountains, or how they cook and prepare it.
I think this place is very special and the owners, having the only all vegan spot on the island, deserve to have continued customers for how much effort they put into it.
If you're staying outside Kardamena, it's worth the trip.
Sometimes they bring their cute dog who you can pet.

Il locale poi è molto bello, a due passi dal mare, riparato dal sole.

Initially hard to find, use the happy cow map and not apple maps! The place is a rare find, I think the only vegan place in Kos. It’s run by the “3 amigo’s” who are incredibly lovely and great hosts, made us feel very welcome. Everything we ate was incredibly delicious wow. So much flavour!! And a nice place to get little snacks and gifts.

The restaurant is located in the middle of Kardamena, super close to the harbour and has the best vegan food on the island. The selection is very good, the service is great and the owners are really nice. Overall, the atmosphere was great and we enjoyed eating there. The prices are more than fair for what you get. I had the Beyond Meat Burger and my non-vegan boyfriend the Spaghetti Bolognese and we both loved it.😄Recommended!

The best food n Kos! 100% vegan, very tasty and healthy compassionate food. The place is runed by two brothers and their best friend. The three give their heart and soul to the food, and to their guests.

we chose Signature toastie and (free) tuna salad bun. Both dishes delicious, Eza beer also great. Thanks to the guy who served us for the great service and comprehensive information on the dishes. If we are going to Kos again, we will definitely come back! 🙂

This is a wonderful place to stay if you had enough of the naturally vegan starters that you can get everywhere. Great food and drinks, and the service was excellent. You can sit outside, but is is very busy in the street.

First Vegan Only Restaurant in Kardamena! - Edit
Out of all the places we visited, Atheneon was by far the best. The three brothers running the bar were so welcoming, kind and caring. The food was UNBELIEVABLE, the cocktails were to die for and it was so relieving to know it was a vegan only restaurant. The atmosphere was amazing, we will 100% be returning to Kardamena just for their spaghetti bolognaise!
