Very good homemade pasta - Edit
I asked for vegan options and they offered to make a vegan basil pesto pasta. It was delicious, I definitely recommend.

The dinner was great - Edit
I had homemade pasta with tomato sauce. It was 10/10. The menu is great, they clearly indicate which food is fully vegan or just vegetarian.

Disappointing, overpriced food - Edit
Disappointing experience. Food was overpriced and largely mediocre. I tried the chickpea salad, lentils with herbs main, homemade bread, and tomato pasta (basically all the vegan options on the menu). Only the tomato pasta was tasty. The lentils were bland but not unpleasant. The chickpea salad was terrible — tasted like canned chickpeas doused in oil. The homemade bread was a total scam — tasted and looked like the cheapest supermarket white baguette style bread. All dishes were expensive and what we ate did not feel worth the price (other than perhaps the pasta). Avoid!

The menu was very clear on what was vegetarian/vegan. I had the bruschetta with walnut pesto, pasta with tomato sauce and chickpea salad. Great selection of wine and the waitress was friendly with excellent service. Highly recommended!

Go for homemade pasta - Edit
We ate homemade pasta in two options, both good. We liked homemade vine vinegar for salad dressing, that was epic.

Can I eat here forever? - Edit
After a week of mainly fries and pasta in tomato sauce, Alterina came to my hangry aid. Fresh, home-made, vegan changes optional and enough to have a three course meal. Loved the staff who were singing along to the radio during their work and especially the owner. Also very good options for my non vegan boyfriend.

Just ok - Edit
Vegan options are clearly marked and waiter was knowledgeable. I just dont understand how pasta with tomato sauce can be more expensive than any non vegan meal with much more ingredients. Bruschetta with walnut pesto was nice.

Great summer lentil soup (huge portion) and very tasty walnut pesto bruschetta (this one could be bigger.

There are very few vegan places in Croatia, most “normal” restaurants don’t even have a single vegan dish (besides fries or a pasta if you’re lucky).
Aterina was a gift from gods for us. Finally a place where we can eat a very very nice meal! And it was very delicious. We ordered toast or baguette with walnut pesto - amazing! Small portion but I’d love to eat it again and again. The second meal ae ordered was a spring lentil soup - expensive as almost everything in this restaurant but again: extremely tasty. Moreover they offered us to pour this one soup into two bowls as we were planning to share it and this one portion turned out to be two big ones! Me and my boyfriend were full from one soup! It never happens lol. I really recommend this place, a light in the dark really

Great ambiance and food. - Edit
Vegan options are generally hard to come by outside Croatia's biggest city centres so Aterina is a rare treat. My non-vegan friend and I shared the walnut pesto bruschetta and chick pea salad which were both great. For the main I had the home made pasta (which the island of famous for) in tomato sauce. It was delicious. The pasta melts in your mouth. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options are clearly marked in the multi-lingual menu.

Vegan options clearly marked - Edit
Vegan options clearly marked. She was ready to answer any questions, and expected some! However I just went for the summer lentils, it had polenta in which was lovely. No fresh juices available, so I had bottled instead. Limited options, but that’s the case here in Korčula. Service was great.

Only Restaurant in Korcula with vegan options - Edit
The Food was very good and the Service very friendly! The Restaurant has a very nice Flair as you sit in on a small terrace in the old town. Minus point for decorating the vegan dish of quinoa with fennel and courgette with mozarella cheese. And it’s quite expensive.

The No. 1 Restaurant! - Edit
With vegan labels, browsing the menu of Aterina was a treat! The restaurant offered many options and the staff were very polite and informed. They knew their menu well and suggested wines to try. One was Grk, the local wine grown in the nearby village of Lumbarda. It was lovely! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Finally vegan food on Korcula! - Edit
We have struggled to find vegan options on the island of Korcula, however this place was the only restaurant which actively catered for a vegan diet. Staff were very helpful. We had a special of quinoa, fennel and courgette dish. And they also do fresh, vegan pasta. Menu is basic but food was really tasty. We also had fresh homemade lemonade which was amazing. For 2x mains, bread, side salad, 2x lemonades & bottle of water it was 310 kuna.

Overprized and slow - Edit
After waiting for 20 minutes to get a table the service was very slow and stressed. The waiter did not even know what 'vegan' means, let alone was aware of vegan options (he offered me Panna Cotta for dessert...). The food was good but not mind-blowing, and absolutely overprized for what it was.
