Top place! - Edit
Located in a former atelier, this place is a must in Brugge! Beautifully decorated, with a nice selection of beers and wines, amazing owners and super delicious vegan finger food! Unfortunately there was no live music when I was there but I kind of felt it anyway. I don’t usually like to come back to the same place because I love to discover new places but in this case I made an exception and I went there both nights I spent in Brugge. On the second night they recognized me and they proposed me something different to vary a bit and I was so pleased!

Friendly, tasty - exceeded expectations - Edit
Cannot say anything more than that. I got here alone and they made me a plate for one person including all their fresh and home made goodies such as jackfruit dips, nachos and "cheese" and lasagna. All vegan! They were so friendly and kind and the place is beautiful 😊

MUST GO IF you are in Bruges - Edit
It's hard to focus on certain aspects of the Atelier, because everything is just so perfect and spot on. First of all, the venue itself is full of character, not just due to the dim lighting that makes it romantic and the soft jazz music, but the fact that it is the former atelier of neo-romantic Belgian painter, Flori van Acker (which is where the name comes from). Even though they just opened in November of 2019. the venue 100% retains the character and style from the mid-19th century, with many paintings on display, and the original stairs, doors, ceilings and floors from that time period. The second most important aspect to us was the vegan cuisine. It is fresh (the many may change from day to day or week to week), homemade, simple, and created with love. We were served a variety of vegan cheeses, crudites, mushroom curry, 2 seitan sandwiches, hummus, a type of coleslaw, green pea and mint dip, fresh fruits, bread and crackers/nachos). I ordered a second portion of the vegan cheese because it was so good. We were absolutely stuffed (2 people) by the end and it costs about 35 euros for the entire tapa etagère (if you are familiar with Bruges, 17 euros per person, especially in an elegant, refined wine bar is EXTREMELY affordable). What made is most delicious is that they are quite simple and humble dishes, but... they are executed perfectly and with care. The third most important aspect for us was the service and the attention from the owners. They are so sweet and lovely people who we were fortunate to chat with and learn about the history of the bar and how they came to open it. We also chatted about plant-based living and they gave us recommendations for things to see in the city. Lastly, to touch on the drinks, we didn't have a chance to order wine as we are more beer drinkers but the 3 beers we tried were delicious and rich in flavor (muuuuch better than beer from Brussels or other regions in Belgium). We had the Extra 4 (light tasting), and the Bier van Bruges (6 and 8%). Overall the visit was unforgettable.....so much so, that we went TWICE in one weekend, as we were only there for less than 48 hours. We love what they stand for and that they show that vegan is sexy, elegant, and for EVERYONE. SEE YOU SOON XO

Amazing vegan restaurant with a lot of variety - Edit
SUPERB. FABULOUS. I don't know where to start. From the moment you enter you feel like you are in a romantic, old-timey but cosy and warm place. Not just by the antique decoration and nostalgic jazz music, but by the owners, who are so attentive and accomodating. We arrived super late (10pm), escaping the rain, with no reservation and they had no more food left but were able to still serve us a few tapas and drinks that were absolutely delicious. It is simple and healthy food, but executed extremely well. It is spacious yet cosy and intimate and time goes by so slowly because you are relaxed yet so quickly because you are enjoying yourself so much. The prices are extremely affordable and even more for the quality of food and service. The food is 100% vegan, homemade and delicious. We didnt try all the tapas or any of the wines.....but we made a reservation for tomorrow so we intend to do so before we leave 😏
Read morePD. Indeed we went again next day and we could try the famous vegan etagere. It was superb, a lot of variety, flavour, textures... Moreover, the owner told us that they often change the dishes. Many beer options as well from soft beers to stronger dark beers. It is a must go place, not only for vegan but for all people that want to enjoy a tasty, healthy meal with friends, partner or family 👌
And by the way its nearly impossible to find vegetarian/vegan food in Bruges, and far less an establishment that is exclusively vegan. SUPPORT LOCAL and SUSTAINABLE businesses.

Delicious and beautiful night - Edit
My colleagues gave me a voucher for Atelier Flori and they could not have picked a better place. The setting is beautiful, with a changing art exhibition. The wine menu is elaborated and for non alcohol drinkers I really recommend the mocktails! And if you feel like treating yourself, go for the etagere. All homemade delicious snacks: vegan cheeses, quiche, lentils paté, several dips. And the couple that owns the place is lovely! To sum up: what a night!

A wonderful experience! - Edit
This was by far our highlight when we visited Bruges. Great ambiance, jazz music, friendly owners and delicious finger food! On our visit, the beautifully-presented two-tiered vegan plate consisted of pea hummus, regular and sun-dried tomato hummus, marinated mushrooms, muhammara, focaccia bread, crackers, crudites, mini quiche, mini paté, endive with herb cream cheese, tartare, feta and olives, and half a Dutch-made camembert cheese with jam (the best camembert I've ever had!). We struggled to finish it and for €24, this was quite reasonable in pricey Belgium. The beers were great as was the wine I had. We learned about the history of the building too -- it was a former artist's home. The artwork there was a mix of old and new. We spent a few hours relaxing in this lovely place. Can't recommend it enough!

Vegan heaven in charming backstreet of Bruges - Edit
Absolutely delightful find. Charming venue hidden away from the main streets. Had an assortment of vegan finger foods including pates, 3 different kinds of hummus, focaccia and the most incredible vegan cheeses I’ve ever tasted-the Camembert with jam is to die for! Paired it with a lovely Vegan red wine.

We went here for the first time on Valentines Day. We had a great étagère with a delicious assortment of food. Especially the lasagna was so great, just like the focaccia. Great wine too, but what topped our visit was the very, very friendly and honest service. Loved it! We’re definitely going back.
