Read moreThis is the most amazing spot to go to if you live a plant-based diet and care about the environment!! The menu is just devine, since I tried all of the lunch(I came 4 or 5 times during my stay in Berlin!) items and also the breakfast menu plus Amazing vegan Tiramisu’ ! Friendly and helpful staff!

This 100% vegan treasure is a MUST in Berlin. The cuisine and decor is Afro-Italian. The menu is limited but the flavors most definitely are not! The owner/ chef radiates with lovingkindness; she is just lovely.

All is Fresh and well flavoured ,like the Jollof bowl (spicy rice With plantains) The sweet part was also incredible:a generous and creamy tiramisù (Wow!)
And the interior is a ray of sunshine. In cold Berlin . i just love this place!
Definitely one of my favourite restaurant in the world!

AtayaCaffe is my favorite restaurant in Berlin. Not only is it vegan, using the highest quality ingredients, but it is a fusion of Sardian and Senegalais dishes. What could get better than that! Every dish I try is as amazing as the last. I have been to Senegal several times and love the food, and I have to say that the Mafé at Ataya is the best I have ever had! The owners, a beautiful husband and wife team, not only bring the flavors of their respective regions, they bring the warmth and traditions, making you feel at home. This restaurant is a gem in Berlin!

About the food Everything from the plating, to the flavours was just amazing.Would rate this great place even with more stars if I could. I would recommend getting reservations as it can get packed especially during lunch. Will definitely go back when I visit Berlin again!

Today we had the pleasure of eating for the first time at Ataya Caffe. The food was clean, tasty and creative, the atmosphere was very nice and calm, and the service was great. The most amazing part of our lunch was the superb vegan Tiramisu. We are vegan for over 14 years and eat only organic at home, so it was a great delight to discover such a great place in Berlin. We will definitely come back!

I happened upon this wonderfully cozy spot two years ago only because it was near my hotel. What a fantastic first vegan meal in Berlin. The menu is simple and the food absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. I'm a coffee fiend and they have a great selection of espresso drinks and plant milks. The space is so comfortable and the owners are so kind and friendly. I'm bringing my vegan tour group here twice next week.

The furnitures are recycled and it’s a no plastic venue which is a big plus.
The lady chef explain us the dishes and the ingredients they use .

Hummus: il migliore mai assaggiato a Berlino.
Ravioli con un sugo meraviglioso di pomodoro fresco dal sapore autentico. (La chef mi ha poi detto che usano solo pelati provenienti dalla Sardegna)
Alla fine del pranzo , abbiamo ordinato vari dolci e caffè, il Tiramisù era divino ,mai assaggiato un tiramisù vegano comparabile a quello classico e questo è’ strepitoso!
Il ristorante in se e’ pieno di bella energia con piante verdi ed ottima musica, tutto L’arredamento è di recupero e con un tocco di design fantastico ,il pavimento antico in legno (gioco berlinese)tavoli e sedie in legno e tessuti africani ad abbellire il tutto.
Un luogo che rigenera l’anima e vien voglia di tornarci ancora ed ancora
Grazie per aver creato un luogo speciale in cui poter imparare ad amare la vera cucina vegana, quella sana e sincera.

About the brunch I can only say that I didn’t have anything like that before. Simply delicious and most of all super lovely staff , ready to help giving information and providing vegan maps for free.

Very cosy location with a nice Italo-Senegalese mix. I had a peanut stew with spicy rice and veggies, which was really good. But the tiramisu really blowed up my mind: definitely one of the best, creamiest, yummiest vegan tiramisu ever tired. Absolutely don’t miss it if you come here!

Jollof and plantain cooked to PERFECTION. If you’re vegan and looking for authentic African food this place will be heaven. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming and the staff are super friendly and personable. The menu has exciting takes on classic dishes and the process of ordering was very simple and straightforward as English options were readily available. There’s something for everyone which is great and the Italian dishes are available for less adventurous eaters which means anyone can find a dish they’ll like even in groups with mixed diets (which is always our issue). Portions are large and filling and you definitely get great value for money. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone, I love it so much I’m coming back again this week to try the other dishes!

Cozy and homely atmosphere with good food. Had Venere vera and it was tasty except a bit heavy on the olive oil and avocado was not even close to ripe. Not sure about price. Locals will be a better judge about that. :)

Als meine beste Freundin und ich das Ataya Caffe betraten, waren wir bereits verliebt. Ein wunderschönes, kleines und gemütliches Restaurant, was zum Verweilen einlädt. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt und während wir auf unser Essen warteten haben wir die wohl schaumigste Kurkuma-Milch überhaupt getrunken. Als dann das Essen kam, waren wir im Food-Himmel. Wir aßen drei Bowls. Hummus, Erdnuss und eine Scharfe. Es war alles unglaublich köstlich und authentisch. Wir haben lange nicht so gut gegessen. Für mich als halb Afrikanerin und meine Freundin als halb Italienerin natürlich sowieso ein kleines Highlight. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung! ♥️

non possiamo far altro che confermare che e´un posto speciale non solo per la cucina ma anche per l´áccoglienza veramente calorosa dei proprietari.
Abbiamo assaggiato diversi piatti dal menu´tra cui ravioli, tagliatelle , ed il loro buonissimo hummus .
Per finire un´ottimo caffe´accompagnato dal Tiramisu´piu´buono che io abbia mai mangiato !
inoltre il locale e´zero-waste , plastic free , insomma una vera perla a pochi minuti di tram da Alexander platz!
