Best vegan breakfast I've ever had! - Edit
I showed up like 20 minutes before they opened. Mentioned that I'm hungry and didn't get any breakfast and the dude just whips a perfect breakfast for me. It had protein, carbs and it was delicious!

I absolutely adore this Cafe. The food is so delicious - better than my own cooking and it's rare for me to say that. There's also a great play area for children which helps the parents to have lunch in peace. I absolutely recommend.

Great african/italian brunch! - Edit
I went there for the brunch on a Sunday with friends and we had a great time. The food was fresh, tons of salads and a delicious hummus, with a few warm dishes and side. Overall uncomplicated, tasty food and very satisfying. The tenants are lovely and the atmosphere of the café really cosy and relaxing. Overall a really nice experience!

Wie schön, am einem Sonntag mit einer Freundin beim veganen Brunch gemütlich zu sitzen und zu quatschen! Elisabetta und ihr Mann sind sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause. Die Strasse ist sehr ruhig und ich freue mich, bald draußen sitzen zu können!
Read moreAm besten fand ich die vegane Pizza, den Cous Cous, den Zucchini Salat, den Hummus und die Curcuma Milch! Die Mischung Afrika/Sardinien und die Liebe zur vegetarischen Küche sind super! Wir kannten einige Zutaten nicht und es wurde und alles mit Begeisterung erklärt.

Read moreI ordered the hummus platter, which was outstanding. I was so surprised at how layered the flavours are. The presentation of the platter itself is so beautiful and inviting. As soon I started eating I wanted to stand up and go meet the chef, because of how blown away I was.
Later my husband and I shared a black coffee and a few sweets. The coffee was rich and dark.. The vegan chocolate mousse was heavenly. And the vegan pound cake was light and not too sweet.
The cafe itself is aesthetically lovely: tasteful with gorgeous touches of colour. I can't wait to return to try the ravioli.

I’ve read so many good reviews and seen such great pics about Ataya Caffe that I told myself I’ll have to try this out, though I am not a veggie or even vegan.
Read moreSo I made a reservation for the green breakfast buffet and visited this café with my hubby who wasn’t very much delighted when hearing that we’ll have a vegan brunch! But he said nothing in order to please me and just went along.
When I opened the door to this café, my first thought was “OMG, it really looks like a living room” and instantly felt like home. The owner, an Italian lady, welcomed us with a huge smile, which made me feel even more comfy. The buffet was fab! I tried all dishes and liked every dish – most of all the samosas with a superb filling. I have to confess that I didn’t think of meat at all during this 1,5 hour – which is not typically me! My other half even said that it was good. Everything was fresh and of very high quality. The baked tomatoes where full of flavour and tasted like those I grow in my garden.
I absolutely recommend it!

Just fantastic! Friendly staff, really good atmosphere and the food was incredibile, original and the best fusion between the african and the italian tradition that I could Imagine. I REALLY wouldn't stop to eat and I suggest to try their amazing and high-quality brunch. Also the prices are REALLY low for what you eat. Veganismo, vegetariana, ominvor? That do not matters: you will love Ataya-Cafè and his lovely staff.

Ataya caffè ist ein super gemütlichen Restaurants/Cafè wo man frisch zubereiteten und große Portionen bekommt . Die Küche ist sowohl Italienisch (Sardinien) als auch aus Senegal, und hat jeden Tag frisch zubereitet und neue Gerichte . Ich liebe es und fühle mich in diesen Ort wie in einen Wohnzimmer. Heute habe ich veganen ravioli tris gegessen und hummus Teller und eine vegane heiße Schokolade genossen. So lecker und frisch und liebevoll vegan habe ich bisher in berlin noch nicht gegessen.Grosse Portionen! Auch der Brunch ist absolut zu empfehlen. Die Gastgeber sind total nett und freundlich und man möchte am liebsten den ganzen Tag dort verweilen. Kinderecke ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet . Das ganze Ambiente lädt zum Verweilen auf . Total empfehlenswert auch zum Arbeiten- Meeting - Frühstück -quatschten

This very unique and lovely vegetarian/vegan place in Zelter Str. is a true little gem. The Italian-African fusion food is mouthwatering and full of flavour, the atmosphere super laid back and inviting, and the owners very charming. A perfect place for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or anytime in between when you're in need of a good Italian coffee and a delicious snack.

AtayaCaffe is like Berlin: diverse and eclectic in surprising ways, as you may have guessed from mixing African and Italian cuisines. Their vegan Sunday buffet brunch was excellent: Just the right amount of (mostly warm) dishes, with root veggies in creamy peanut sauces, garlic bread and garlic sauteed eggplant or kale, falafel, pastas, and other tasty surprises you won't find in any other Berlin vegan brunch. The decor is casual and cozy, and the hosts are friendly. If you're lucky, you'll hear one of them practicing guitar too. Will definitely be eating there again soon!
