Top-quality food and Mediterranean vibes in Prenzlberg - Edit
Dropped by here for lunch the other day and had some of the best gnocchi I've ever tasted (served with fresh salad

Hosts Betta and Bashir were friendly and open...
In short: perfect food in a perfect atmosphere. Looking forward to coming here again soon.

My favourite vegan spot in Berlin - Edit
I am always in Berlin, the vegan capital of Europe, looking for food spots. Today I encountered cafe Ataya and went there for brunch and the whole experience was fantastic. We had a vegan brunch, which consisted of diverse fresh foods deliciously prepared and combined, with an Italian/African heart which just makes it above average in taste! Besides the great combinations and food choice, the place offers proper Italian coffee, a cozy living-room chill atmosphere and very kind and attentive hosts. I am so happy to have found this place, it is definitely my new favourite in Berlin. I can’t wait to join again for lunch, buffet Sunday brunch and much more - they have different events depending on the day. :)))))

Colourful, comfortable place to linger - Edit
I love this little cafe! Had the vegan gnocchi kartoffeln for lunch with a salad. It was like eating back in Tuscany again. DELICIOUS. I also brought a German friend here recently who has living in Berlin for years. We both had cappuccinos and after taking his first sip, he said, shocked, that it's one of the best cappuccinos he's ever had. I agree because the cappuccino is what I get every time I come here. Plus the colourful mismatched furniture and blankets and the jammin' Afro fusion jazz playing always puts me in a good mood. Then with great employees who speak English, German, Italian... You can't go wrong coming here!

Ein MUSS in Berlin - Edit
Ich wollte das Ataya Caffe ausprobieren, weil ich gelesen habe, dass es vegan, afrikanisch UND italenisch ist. Also meine meine Ernährungsweise mit meinen Lieblingsküchen kombiniert. Danke!!!

Nice, just not amazing. - Edit
I was all set to love this place and had been looking forward to my brunch all week. I've heard such great things about it. I was a little disappointed. The setting is lovely, really homely and a bit quirky. There is a great children's area. The staff were lovely and friendly. But it took over 45 minutes for our food to arrive and there was only one other table with 2 customers at the time! The food was really salty and was not quite as fabulous as I'd hoped. The bagels seemed to have been microwaved. In short, if I was in the neighbourhood again I might drop in, and if someone suggested meeting there I wouldn't refuse, but I wouldn't feel the need to make a special journey.
