Veganer Brunch - Edit

cibo genuino e gustoso - Edit
Consigliato!
Pros: panini, piatti sardi e senegalesi, atmosfera rilas

Best Vegan restaurant in Berlin! - Edit
This restaurant truly captures what vegan should be like. No fuss, No frills...just love in everything they do. Great atmosphere, relaxed seating, and cool music! Best of all is that it's family owned! They open their hearts and their kitchen to all that come. It's really a wonderful place to spend time either for incredible coffee or the fantastic Sunday brunch. You really can't go wrong.

Very rude customer service - Edit
This place was a huge disappointment for me. The internet was gone in my apartment so I searched online for a café with wifi and I found this place. Vegan and looks very cozy so my hopes were up. Then it turned out that their wifi is not working at the moment, but that wouldn't even be a problem in itself. I was about to meet with a friend of mine so I told the staff that I'll wait for her and I ordered a latte. My friend arrived and we were just about to go to another café where the wifi is working, but I was already getting hungry so I thought maybe I'll try one of their dishes. My friend only had money for one coffee and as we were about to go to another place she wanted to save her money for there so she didn't order here anything. And eventhough I already had a latte and I was just about spend another 10 euros on food (which I think is not so cheap by the way) the staff said if she doesn't order anything she has to leave. So instead of taking my order and possibly have a guest or two who will come back regularly they had us leave because of the price of one coffee and we will surely never return. I guess it was worth it... Also reading the answers to the bad reviews is quite shocking. I rarely see the owners' answers being written in such manner. They know little to none about how to treat guests. Also the latte was said to be 3 euros and written like that on two places on the wall and I got charged 3.50 eventually. The man asked me in the beginning which milk do I want and I chose oat milk but he never said and it wasn't written anywhere that it costs extra. All the possibilities are vegan so I didn't know that any of them will cost more than the other. But at that point I really didn't care anymore we just wanted to leave.

Totalmente recomendable.

Delicious food and a warm and cozy atmosphere. The owners were very friendly, and I loved the fusion of Italian and Senegalese cuisine, which is a combination that I don't think I've seen anywhere else. I highly recommend the Sunday brunch (book ahead, because it fills up quickly). I visited Berlin over Christmas and was very happy to find that, unlike most other places, Ataya Caffe was open even on Christmas Eve!

My #1 Favorite Vegan Cafe in Berlin!! - Edit
I LOVE ATAYACAFFÉ and cannot recommend it highly enough! The food, like the café itself, is sophisticated without being pretentious and is deeply comforting. Over the last week I’ve eaten at the café several times and each new dish is a wonder!! My first meal at Ataya was a hearty, warm bowl of luscious pumpkin-filled ravioli, smothered in a refreshingly light, savory red sauce and topped with fresh sprigs of arugula. The ravioli was paired with a perfect side salad, a large mug of expertly brewed chai tea, and the most amazing dark chocolate mousse I’ve ever tasted. The café owners, Liz and Bashir are deeply kind, engaging and work hard to create a relaxed atmosphere perfect for dates, meetings or solo meals. Run, don’t walk to AtayaCaffe! Your belly will thank you!
