When vegan food is orgasmic ! - Edit
Recommended by a local tour vegan guide as the best vegan restaurant in the area and it didn't disappoint.Great atmosphere and great service,they have lods of great books to read while you are eating.

The food tastes incredible, the prices are really reasonable and there are lots of diverse options on the menu: pasta dishes,salads bowls,gluten-free options (which is rare!)raw cakes,smoothies bowl and more.
Extra shout out to the hummus and African bowls , which are amazing.
Raw gluten-free cakes and coffee are the top as well!

We arrived for a cup of coffee and a piece of cake on a Sunday where the place only served brunch, but they nicely made an exception for us - although they forgot our order for a short while and mis-calculated the price of our order, so if we hadn’t been watchful, we’d have payed overprice. The place had nice outdoor seating and the brunch looked super good, the coffe was good and the cake as well.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE food! I came here for my birthday brunch and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the vegan brunch and it was absolutely huge with two giant plates (fruits, breads and yogurt on one and delicious vegetables and salads on the other). The atmosphere and vibe of the place is great with nice music and lovely quirky decorations. The owners are really kind and helpful and even gave me a free desert for my birthday. I will definitely be coming back here next time I’m in Berlin. Thank you so much!

Read moreI had a fair amount of vegan meals during my stay in Berlin, but this place sticks in the memory the most.
Staff is very helpful and passionate about what they do, which is a joy to see. My friend had the hummus plate which was amazing ,i had An African bowl with a kind of yummy peanut vegetables stew .
Everything was extremely fresh and really authentic,raw cakes included.
If you think that vegan food is boring ,this wonderful place will change your mind.

The perfect vegan brunch, for everyone - Edit
The Ataya Caffé is a gem in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg. The food is a mixture of Italian and African cuisine (rigourously vegetarian and vegan). It's perfect for lunch with the family, a brunch with your friends and - why not - a coffee by yourself. The brunch is highly recommended, love the freshness of their products, their hummus is a dream. :)

It's run by two wonderful people, Elisabetta (talented Vegan Chef) and Bachir his husband ,they have worked really hard to get this business off the ground.
. It's becoming more and more a must for anyone travelling to Berlin and its not difficult to understand the reason why!
The vibes here are great.
Their food is one of the bests I ever had during my Anonymous for the voiceless worldwide tour.

We came to Berlin for a Vegan Tour and we were lucky to had the chance to discor this AMAZING place hidden on a side street .

Ravioli filled with asparagus , and "the perfect HUmmus"of my life(I'm an hummus fan!)
You can tell that the products they use are super fresh and superb.
As the owner told me they use only Evo hight quality oil,.
This place is really a vegan heaven and is without any doubt the best we visited in Berlin.
I will raccomend this place to all my community .

A friend suggested Ataya to me and as soon as I looked at the unique concept (Senegalese Sardinian fusion) I was sold. The food convinced me even further what a wonderful spot this is. Generous portions with big, comforting flavours. I'm only in Berlin a couple times a year but this will go to the top of my must visit list for whenever I'm in town. Also worth mentioning: it's nice to see a cafe that is so family friendly.

Read moreThis place is simply Amazing . The colors, the flavors, the friendly service. The prices are super reasonable and the dishes are generous and delicious ,everything on the menù is outstanding, their hummus is simply the best I’d ever had and the African plates are full of flavours and love.
We went at Ataya for lunch and had a great time as well as a fascinating conversation with the owners which are lovely people . This was a fantastic experience and will definitely return again for the brunch on weekends.

Loro hanno ben chiaro quanto sia importante il rispetto per ogni forma di vita, sia animale che vegetale. Sono rimasto molto contento di sapere il loro cambiamento verso un'offerta puramente vegana.
I colori, i sapori, la freschezza, la creativita, la passione e l'amore che entrambe trasmettono con cibo, ambiente e servizio è emozionante. "Mi riporta a casa" ad ogni mia visita!
Non andate se il vostro obiettivo è riempirvi la pancia ma andate perché volete vivere un'esperienza unica nel suo genere. Dopodichè non vi sembrera più neanche costoso ;)

AtayaCaffe is definitely a must-visit when you are in Berlin! Splendid meals, cozy atmosphere and wondeful owners! 💛 The food is just excellent - healthy, fresh and full of rich flavors! Betta and Bachir are lovely hosts and AtayaCaffe feels very much like home. Now that they are 100% vegan the place is one of the best ones in Berlin!

Wow this place is wonderful !! I went there because somebody recommended it for the nice food, but the place offers much more than that. First of all, the people working there are really kind and friendly, make you feel totally comfortable in a warm and nice atmosphere. There is even an area for the children to play, so that they can also have fun while mothers can enjoy the meal. Let's not forget about the food.... an interesting mixture of African/Italian food, fresh ingredients prepared in an healthy way, and you really understand that the person who made it put heart and passion in it. I can only recommend it !

Im Atayacaffe gibt es täglich (außer montags) frische selbstgekochte und leckere Gerichte für mittags. Gefüllte Tortellini oder Gnocci, Hummusteller, African Bowl oder neu Curry Dakar. Auch einen Salatteller kann man bestellen. Kaffeespezialitäten und einfallsreich belegte Bagels fehlen auch nicht. Die Inhaber sind überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr zu empfehlen!
