Great location for a snack with the sunset! - Edit
The location at this little cafe is noteworthy. It’s right next to the Atlantis hotel where you have fantastic views of the Caldera & the stunning Santorini Sunsets you get at night. Food wise things are clearly labelled vegan & the staff are clued up on the options they have. We had a spinach pie & a mushroom pies with a couple of coffee’s both were tasty with strong flavours & pastry which was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Very good. They also had a freezer dedicated to plant based ice cream. Although we didn’t try one again it would be a great spot for an ice cream and to look out to the see with that view

Hits the sweet spot - Edit
They have a separate stand for vegan ice cream with a fair few different flavours, you have your regular fruit sorbets, but they also do a chocolate hazelnut and a pistachio flavour. I had the pistachio which was surprisingly creamy. The baklava isn't labelled as vegan, but the owner stated that it was. It was absolutely delicious! And tasted like they use possibly Maple syrup instead of honey. It was the only place I was able to find a soya iced late too. Very happy!

Delicious vegan spinach and mushroom pies - Edit
We have gone to Assyrtico three times during our June 2024 trip to Santorini and haven’t been disappointed. The vegan spinach and mushroom pies are delicious and the vegan gelato was tasty. They offer alternative milks for coffee as well.

Delicious vegan gelato - Edit
They have an entire fridge dedicated to vegan gelatos. Loved the hazelnut and pistachio flavour. Really friendly staff. Has a shaded seating area which was appreciated after a day of sightseeing in the heat.

Affordable cafe with good vegan options - Edit
Really affordable place considering it is on the front in Thira. They usually do a vegan spinach pie (delicious) and a vegan sandwich option. They also do plant milk in their coffee.
Read moreI think they also turn into a bar in the evening and their cocktail, beer and wine prices are some of the cheapest in the area.
