Plenty of choice

I was pleasantly surprised with a number of vegan choices available at ASK. Good service and good food alike. Mozzarisella cheese used on the pizzas and ‘This Isn’t’ brand also used. Nice place for a casual dinner.

Surprisingly Good

This is a part of the chain of Ask Italian to be found all over the U.K., and one would expect the food to be perfectly adequate (though nothing special) because of it. Indeed, we had eatan in another Ask Italian in London a week or so previously, and the food does appear to be standaradised wherever one decides to dine. This is not a bad thing.

It is always reassuring to find a seperate vegan menu, and Ask italian has one. While much on the menu looks pretty basic, the quality of the food takes the whole experience up a notch. There are the usual pasta dishes, make your own pizza (with a mozerella style cheese), a few salads and even a kids' menu, the latter of which is really nice to see.

This may not be in the realms of super advanced vegan Italian dining, but we would without doubt visit this chain again.

Pros: Seperate vegan menu,, kids' menu, Outdoor seating

Cons: Pizzas on the small side
