Great vegan options - Edit
After living in Alexandria for 10 years, I finally found a Chinese restaurant that clearly offers yummy vegan options. They have a whole section on vegan/vegetation options (faux meat) and a section with tofu and vegetables. I have been loving the sesame tofu, vegetable spring rolls, vegan General Tso’s and vegan orange chicken. The portions are a good size. The owners are so nice.

Amazing vegan options! - Edit
Read all the great reviews and gave this a shot. Was a bit skeptical when I saw this run-down looking, hole-in-the-wall shack next to a gas station.
Read moreWhen I later ate the Veggie Orange Chicken and Veggie Sesame Chicken from the Vegan/Vegetarian Food section ($16.95/ea), I was blown away! The flavor and texture of both dishes were just outstanding. Honestly some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had.
Why are hole-in-the-wall places always the best??
Highly recommend!
Pros: Huge vegan selection, Faux meat/chicken/seafood traditional meals, Knock out flavor!
Cons: No indoor dining (April 2022), Looks run down (but who cares!)

Amazing Chinese food - Edit
I have ordered from this place three times, and the food has always been hot, fresh, and delicious. Yes, delivery takes a while (so order way earlier than you might). I seriously cannot think of better Chinese food I’ve had anywhere, at any time in my life.

Good food, but... - Edit
I make a point of not getting take out so that I can avoid styrofoam and plastic, so it was very disappointing that my food was served on a styrofoam plate and served with a plastic fork. The food was good though, so if I go back I will bring my own compostable plate and silverware.

Best Chinese Food - Edit
This is literally the best Chinese food we (my husband and I) have had since we’ve lived in VA (4 years at the time of this review) . We have had loads of Chinese food and either it’s flat in flavor or feels greasy and gross . The flavors here have depth and aren’t one note. They’re not greasy but still have that comfort food feel. Huge vegan section of the menu and an additional veggie section without faux meats . ( 47 options!) . Yes it is a hole in the wall Chinese place that focuses more on take out than eat in BUT isn’t the best Chinese food from hole in the wall places . Definitely found our Chinese food place.

unexpected pleasure - Edit
Based on the Happy Cow suggestion, my husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch. The vegan menu is huge. We were able to sit outside and have our selections brought to us. I ordered vegan General Tso's and my husband ordered vegan Mongolian chicken and veggies. Both were very good. The outside of this building is so tiny and nondescript that we never would have even seen it if we weren't looking for it. There is plenty of parking.

Tasty Orange "Chicken" - Edit
I got carryout from here last night and honestly, when I got it home, I had to do a double take because it totally looked like meat. But it was delicious fake meat. The owner threw in a free soda when I said I found her restaurant on the happy cow app. Very large portion. The vegan orange chicken was enough for two meals. Will absolutely be back!
