Delicious vegan options made fresh (and gf too!), great price!

Really delicious vegan options made fresh! Their yellow curry is amazing! The lunch menu comes with a soup and it’s really good too, great deal. Must try is the homemade peanut sauce that comes with the fresh summer rolls, it’s like a peanut mousse. So good you can eat it on its own, just like dessert! They also offer banana ice cream and can make it into a sundae (we were too full to try it but were happy to hear there’s a vegan dessert option).

Pros: Super healthy , Lots of veggies, Fresh and clean food

Fresh and Veg Heavy 💚

They are really open and willing to help vegans and vegetarians here and will modify. The Natalie soup with tofu was my favorite. Greens and lovely broth. We also got the house favorite which was the fried noodles. I wasn’t so crazy about the noodles themselves but the veggies and tofu that came with it was really lovely. They also have salads and soups and lemongrass tofu and mushroom medley. I’d def come back and get more Natalie soup.

Pros: Fresh, Tasty, Helpful wait staff

Cons: None

Tastyyyy

This place was unexpectedly awesome!
We had just RV’d into town after a long stretch of driving and were really hungry! They had a nice tiny table outside that we sat at and were offered ginger/pineapple infused water when we sat down.
The new owners are really nice and according to them kept the original kitchen crew from the previous owners that have been there for over a decade.
The crispy tofu appetizer was AMAZINGGGG I would go back just for that. Even my kids smashed it and talked about it the next day.
We ordered a lot of food: Fried rice, pho, pad Thai, pad see ew, and I feel like we ordered some more but that’s all I can remember. Although most Thai people would shake their heads at the pad Thai we ordered, we still though it tasted really good, but most definitely not a traditional version. I’m pretty sure the owner thought we were aliens because we ate everything!! 😂
Although not a vegan restaurant, they are very accommodating and can make almost anything on the menu vegan which is cool!

Last thing we really appreciated was the price!
My husband was shocked to see the bill thinking they must have missed something since the total was lower than we expected and we got big servings! It would have easily been over $$120 bill in Chicago. We paid I think around $70 or less all in?

Recommend 100%

Pros: Anything can be made vegan. , Free infused water , Outdoor seating

Cons: Non traditional pad Thai

Delicious and very vegan friendly

Finally made it in. Had the Vietnamese country style curry with bean noodles and wood ear mushrooms. So good!! And best part of all, the server asked if I was vegan before I said anything! So nice to have a vegan curry on offer, as most Asian spots have fish sauce or shrimp in the curry that can’t be left out. Excellent service and lovely atmosphere. I will be back to try everything on the menu. Would give it 5 stars if I could.

Would give 5 stars if app allowed

This place is phenomenal. My wife and I drive down from Cape Canaveral specifically to dine here. The family that owns/operates are the sweetest. The food is always immaculate and cared for through every step. You can tell. Are there veggies in your dish? They will be crisp with life and vitamins left in them. Are you vegan? They can veganize every item on their menu. Don’t let the inconspicuous name deter you from this humble gem. The pad thai is to die for. The food is always so good, I send tips to the kitchen and so should you!

Delicious vegan food, nice servers

Since our move from California, our family of four vegans has had a hard time finding good vegan food in this area. We've been here many times in the last few months and have never been disappointed. The servers are very nice and helpful. They made the Tom Yum soup not spicy for us and offered different sauces when the usual ones were too hot. Our favorites are the summer or saigon rolls with tofu, the tofu fried rice, tofu lemongrass bun, tofu pho and pad thai with tofu when they add garlic and tamarind to the sauce. As previously mentioned in other reviews, the interior could use some tlc, but the food and staff outweigh my need for more expensive surroundings.Vegans owe it to themselves to try this place. Would give 5 cows if happycow allowed.

Pros: Vegan friendly, Great food, Very nice staff

Cons: interior could use tlc, Not open on Sunday

A Vegan Visiting Melbourne

I live in Miami and I was visiting family in Melbourne. I am vegan and found this place using the Happy Cow App. It was a very good experience. The waitress who was very busy..took her time to explain a couple of food items and the owner was very nice and she spoke both of us about different topics after we finished our meals even though the restaurant was closed. Great place

Pros: Friendly Waitress And Owner.

Cons: Slow Service, But Only One Waitress and one Cook, Not Full Vegan/vegetarian.

DELECTABLE!!!!

Even if you're not sure about Vietnamese food, do yourself a favor and visit Maria at Asian Gourmet. This is a small, family-owned and operated restaurant that offers the most delicious, conscienciously prepared food you will ever taste. Make sure to tell the server you are vegan when you order and they will alter the sauce to ensure it's vegan.

There are very few items on the menu that she cannot make vegan. The crispy rice noodles are amazing (although it has eggs), the Bun (salad with glass noodles, sprouts, etc.) is light and delicious. If you prefer a stronger flavor and don't mind a little kick, the Vietnamese Curry and spicy Thai Salad will leave you wanting to return.

The only drawback is that they are slow. I often order, then go next door to Nature's Market to shop for groceries and return just as the food is getting to the table. But, the reason for the wait is that everything is prepared fresh, which is very much worth the wait.

I wanted to give them five cows, but the system will not let me because it's not all vegan. With that many vegan options, it definitely deserves the full five cows, so disregard the rating and consider it as five cows!

Update: 8/2013: Nature's Market no longer next door, but they have sped up their service considerably. Food is still AMAZING

The Bomb

Maria, the owner home makes everything. Her Veggy stock for the Vegan Natalies soup is unreal!. You can choose tofu and veg with any sauce..Ginger, Curry, Lemongrass, she will not only make it vegan but gluten free if it suits your need. Vietnamese ans Thai salads are fab. Bun(salad meal with noodles and tofu), Pho(soup meal, noodles, veg, tofu) AWESOME!!

Pros: food made with love, healthy, delicious

Cons: takes a long time to get served

A dining experience

I agree totally with the first review that I read back in January when I was planning our trip to Florida and looking for Vegan restaurants. We travelled from New Hampshire and after visiting the Kennedy Space Center we followed the directions on our GPS to this restaurant. What a treat. It was the best meal that I had in our 7 day trip. Maria was so attentive and treated us like family. She is such a sweet lady and an incredible cook. Her peanut sauce is the best. I didn't want to leave. I recommend this restaurant highly and my recommendation comes from experience as I cook myself and once owned a restaurant in Portsmouth, N.H. that is still in operation. I feel that I do know food and appreciate especially great food and great service. You will find both at this restaurant. Thank you Maria!

Again, my rating is really 5 cows but because it is not all veggie I couldn't choose 5.

Pros: healthy cuisine, friendly staff, good value
