Serves meat, vegan options available. Colorfully decorated place. Part of the menu is in English. Could get a salad, roti, stir-fries without meat, smoothies and soy milk. Specify vegan to be sure.
Despite not having any vegan options on the menu, they were happy to make adjustments to the Pad Thai dish. Friendly staff and willing to accommodate you if they can!
Nothing for vegetarians...but special meal arranged by request - Edit
Despite believing the previous reviewer...there was not thing on the menu for vegetarians, at least not for lunch. Upon request I received a delicious bean curry. Very satisfying.
Koriyama is a big city in Fukushima, with literally thousands of restaurants. Yet this was the only one listed in Happy Cow in the vicinity of the train station.
Would it be so difficult to have even one vegetarian/vegan lunch option at an (the only?) Indian/SriLankan restaurant in this area?
At first, we were a bit intimidated by this restaurant. There are no other reviews at the time I am writing this, and no other restaurants in the area on HappyCow. Considering I am not anywhere near fluent in Japanese, the staff speaks little English, and the restaurant isn’t vegan, this place was highly satisfactory! The staff worked with us to provide us with a large and very delicious meal. The salad was massive and came with 9 toppings, and the curry was a nice follow-up!
