more modern ambiance than usual - Edit
Instead of drifting away on the typical asian restaurant's elevator music playlists & discovering 6 layers of table cloth on a table, this restaurant had a jazz/rock playlist more modern furniture.

The apple gyoza dessert might also be vegan, it's without egg according to the staff. I didn't ask if it contained dairy so upon ordering you might want to ask for that (edit: apple gyozas from amazing oriental supermarket are vegan, high chance they're the same).
For me the Pad Thai portion could have been a bit bigger. But still, we would eat there again, I will just take it into account and have a (bigger) snack beforehand at home.
