The cheese isn't convincing - Edit
I grew up on Pizza, loved it my entire life and was hard to let it go once I became vegan. I am always open to trying Vegan pizzas but most of the time am disappointed simply because many times something doesn't feel quite right. At Astistic pizza I tried the BBQ Chicken pizza and the black olives pizza and with both of them I wasn't a fan of the cheese. It gave a somewhat strange mushy feeling in my mouth that I wasn't a fan of.

Read moreAnd “pepperoni” slices. Place is extremely small and more of a grab and go (sit in Washington sq park) place. They use violife and its pretty good! What really made the slice in my opinion was the great crunchy crust and sauce.
Pros: You can buy whole pies, One of the best crusts I’ve ever had
Cons: Small but most pizzerias are small so whatever

The spot is very small so don't expect seating for more than 4. However the vegan pizza was amazing! True New York style is hard to find and especially vegan pizza. I come here everytime I'm in the city.

Hungry post-event; we stopped by on our way home for a pie. There’s only a few counter seats in this tiny place, so made for a quick slice or take away. Pizza was very good - but could have used less cheese and more toppings. Very friendly staff - probably would accommodate if asked!
