Best Ramen - Edit
Excellent service, knowledgeable staff. The noodles are made fresh in-house. Several appetizer options, a vegetable ramen option, and main course entrees that can be made vegan. We had the spring rolls as an appetizer, and the vegetable ramen with tofu and without egg for the main dish. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Wish there were more to choose from - Edit
The only option for vegan ramen is to build your own. There's only one way to to build it and it's very bland (ie. One choice for broth, one choice for noodles, one choice for protein). The sunshine cauliflower was pretty good and the service was great.

Cons: Not many vegan options

Tasty vegan options!!! - Edit
Clearly marked vegan options on the menu. Picture is of the Vegan Sushi Burrito (after we had already eaten 2 of the 3). We had the Vegetable Gyoza and Sunset Cauliflower for appetizers- so tasty! For dinner, I had a create-your-own Ramen. Huge portion and very satisfying. Husband had the Vegan Sunset, which is the Sunset Cauliflower plus rice, etc. We split the Vegan Sushi Burrito. We are stuffed and thrilled. Everything was super tasty, clearly marked, and the wine/beer/cocktail list topped everything off perfectly! Zoe, the GM, didn’t know Happy Cow existed when I told her that’s how we found them during our visit to Milwaukee, so she even took a picture with me for my review!

Kimchi Ramen and More! - Edit
Menu offers some specifically vegan options and ways to veganize others, and no shared equipment with animal products. The Kimchi Ramen was good, would love to go back and try to build my own plus try their vegan poke and other menu items.

Great Place for New Year's Eve Meal - Edit
Star Wars - Our New Year's Eve dinner was terrific! Great venue, fast, friendly waitstaff, delicious food all around. We weren't sure why there was so much Star Wars decoration on the walls, why Baby Groot in a Christmas sweater was on the bar, but no matter! It made our visit interesting and we loved watching the "live" stream of someone walking around Japan somewhere on the tv behind our table. We think it was Japan anyway, but it literally was someone walking up and down some streets, stopping to buy a drink from a vending machine, holding a camera out in front of them. Anyway, we ordered three appetizers and they all were delicious: Spicy Edamame, Vegetable Gyoza, and Agedashi Tofu - highly recommend them all. We were able to get vegan ramen here in a rich broth with just the right amount of spice and heat. We would all come here again and bring friends. I like a lot of ingredients in my ramen, so I wish they had more to choose from, but it was still very, very good. That's the only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars Next time I'd like to try the Japanese Curry as I've never had one before. (Written in 2019)

Best vegan ramen options in MKE - Edit
Build your own ramen allows you to create delicious ramen with choices of veggie broth, miso or shoyu. Vegan items clearly indicated. Make sure you try the vegetable gyosa!

The gyoza wasn't vegan, she said there was egg in the wrapper

Thanks for the clarification on the gyosa! Our server assured us it was, although the menu did not indicate either way. 😞
